Kapitel 14: Chapter 14

Floating Cloud City.

It had been two weeks since the wedding fiasco, the city residents still discussed what happened in the taverns outside the hearing ears of the Xiao clan henchmen, however, the fervor of the citizens had mostly cooled off over this period.

The Xia Clan had suffered a huge slight and they didn't want to let the matter go just like that, so over the past week The Xiao Clan began panicking when they found out that their business partners in the surrounding cities had cut off their business relations with them. They tried reaching The Xiao sect but they found for some reason they had closed their doors from the outside world. When the news got back, their patriarch fainted on the spot, and this is how the subtle retaliation of Lord Xia began with no one being the wiser.

Inside the Xia compound, an air of tranquility permeated the mansion. The koi fishes played in the ponds in the different courtyards. The air was fresh as the various servants went about doing their work with light steps and conversation among them, from taking care of the house or sorting the different merchandise under the order of their lords. They were grateful for their lord and his children as no one had mistreated them since they began working here.

At the moment Radhan was sitting cross-legged inside his courtyard. His sister went back to Frozen Cloud Asgard, she asked him if he could go back with her but he refused he didn't like the cold air there and the disciple's stiff attitude. While there he mostly kept to himself apart from interacting with the palace mistress and the seven fairies.

It had been seven days since he closed his eyes trying to sense the spatial laws of Blue Pole Star. He made a big advancement since the fabric of space on the planet was weak and he could punch a hole through space with just the strength of his physical body, but the main reason why he made a huge advancement, just like how The Rage God had said. Gravity, Space, and Void are all linked together. Gravity was the result of the bend in space-time, and The Void was the emptiness bereft of all the laws except the space-time laws and untamed energy. His mastery of gravity laws pushed him further than anyone could do since he started from the bottom by mastering Gravity laws.

As for why Radhan didn't start comprehending space laws and magic in his past life, it could have contributed to his turbulent life. He never had the chance to be at peace, He missed his days learning under the Alabaster Lord. But now he intended to finish what he started and complete the circle. They were Supreme Laws and he intended to explore everything this path offered since he had an advantage over the majority of people.

At the moment the space surrounding Radhan was fracturing like a mirror, and if any of these cracks landed on a sovereign realm practitioner it would split him into two parts, behind those cracks if one was lucky enough to peer inside they would find a similar world to ours although the buildings looked a bit distorted like a mismatched puzzle.

Suddenly the cracks started enlarging, causing a disturbance in space. Radhan quickly stopped what he was doing by vanishing the cracks and opening his eyes whilst muttering under his breath.

'' Not there yet, But soon… ''

Radhan got up intending to head to the kitchen to eat something, although he doesn't need to, he likes the taste of food and doesn't want to deprive himself of this pleasure. As he was walking toward the gate, he paused for a second and turned his head to the west.

' What happened? The mark I left on the boy is gone. '

Radhan looked puzzled, admittedly the mark he left on him was nothing impressive but he couldn't remove it without any profound energy.

'' I guess it's time to wrap up it up with that boy '' He sighed then in the next second a crack in space appeared before him. It was stable and empty without any disturbance, he took a step and vanished, leaving the crack closing up behind him.

Deep within the Scarlet Dragon Mountain Range. Among the majestic looming trees, the sun rays struggled to reach the ground, where different insectoids skittered from one hole to another searching for prey, and the sounds of profound beasts howling from afar made anyone who stepped inside on edge, it was a primal place filled with life and a heaven for both profound beasts and practitioners.

Close to the center of the Scarlet Dragon Mountain Range, deep pained grunts could be heard. A boy was writhing on the ground, his body was a mess, drenched with sweat and covered by red demonic-like veins pulsating on the surface of his skin. He didn't utter a word but from his painful muffled sound, anyone can infer that he is experiencing a hellish pain.

Next to him stood a short small girl of thirteen to fourteen years of age, she had her hands folded on top of her chest, as she watched the scene happening before her impassively. She was extremely beautiful for a young girl who hadn't matured yet, one could see the blue veins underneath her white skin edging toward paleness, complemented with long red hair and black eyes as if you were looking at the painting of a demonic child.

At the moment she was looking pensive at the boy in front of her ' His will is extremely astonishing… I don't what happened to him before but one must experience hell to reach such a state… But the mark left on the boy is what worries me the most, I spent a large amount of power at the risk of the poison spreading in my body just to remove it… are there any strong experts on this barren planet? Why didn't I sense him before? Could he be skilled at hiding his presence… I don't know… I hope nothing will come out of this I'm extremely weak right now '

She shook her head and squatted close to Yun Che to make sure everything went right, The Evil God's profound veins were born after devouring the older sets of veins one has, so it was extremely painful.

'' I'm sure he'll hold on '' She kept examining his state when suddenly a long shadow from behind her appeared without a moment of notice. Jasmine's heartbeat jumped erratically for a second before she reacted by flashing in crimson red light, covering Yun Che with a barrier and spreading her presence toward the intruder.

When she looked at the intruder, she found that it was a boy of sixteen to fifteen years of age, he had shoulder-long thick black hair, his face looked sharp with masculine features sculpting his face.

'' WHO ARE YOU? '' Jasmine said with a warning edge to her voice, she exerted more power wanting to bring the man to his knees.

Radhan ignored the little girl in front of him, although her soul looked powerful, it was injured, and even if her soul recovered she wouldn't be able to pressure him. He cocked his head to the side and looked at the boy writhing on the ground for he was the reason he came here, he felt the godly power spreading in the boy's body and understood what was happening.

''ARE YOU IGNORING THIS PRINCESS? '' Jasmine felt insulted at him ignoring her then she raised her hand gathering a crimson light on the edge of her fingers.

Radhan felt the power gathering on her fingers, he didn't want the situation to escalate into a bothersome task, So he looked at her in the eyes and said

'' Calm down little girl, I'm not here to harm you or the boy behind you. ''

Jasmine didn't believe any word he said and replied

'' Why did you appear here then? Were you the one who put the mark on him, do you think I'd believe you? ''

Radhan had developed a big patience over the years so he explained to the girl

'' I know him, and indeed I was the one who put the mark on him… you see the lucky bastard almost managed to wedd my sister two weeks ago ''

'' And besides… if I want to do anything you'll only be able to watch as a hapless chicken '' His voice gained an edge as he released a part of his soul power.

Jasmine shook, and for a fleeting second she saw an illusion of a colossal tree stretching among the stars swinging her branches toward her, then she felt like a big hammer smashed into her soul, she staggered back and felt the poison spreading through her soul at an alarming rate.

'' Y-You How dare you attack this princess '' Jasmine said while holding her chest in pain.

Radhan saw that he had done too much damage to the little girl, her red hair reminded him of a time he once lived another life, so before she could do anything else he immobilized her with his power and ordered

'' Pipe down! '' she stopped moving under his words and tried to struggle to no avail. Radhan advanced toward her, her eyes filled with rage, he touched her head with one hand and muttered under his breath '' Lord's Heal ''

A golden light shone from the Erdtree deep within his soul into his hand as a golden profound formation appeared under the girl's legs. Jasmine resisted when the light shone on her at first but after a second she stopped when she felt the light was healing her damaged soul, even though it didn't manage to remove the poison it restored her to the state where she could control the poison spread.

After a few seconds, he removed his hand and took a step back, releasing along the way the girl from his bind. He watched her close her eyes and then open them a second later seemingly feeling better than before.

'' Do you understand now? '' Radhan uttered breaking the silence.

Jasmine looked at him and understood that he bore no ill will but she couldn't let her guards down when there were enormous secrets on the boy inside the barrier behind her.

Radhan looked at the boy; then back at her and smiled a little as he said

'' I know that the boy behind you is hiding some big secrets, and so are you, you definitely are not from this planet, I can feel the god aura inside the boy, and I know about the treasure inside his palm… ''

He paused for a second watching her face change from a neutral guarded expression to a grimace and continued

'' But I don't care about you nor him… I'm simply here to inform him of a matter, so don't make me do things I have no time for ''

Jasmine pondered on his words ' He isn't telling any lies, and I doubt I can resist him in my state 'After pondering on his words she nodded but didn't remove the barrier, remaining guarding the boy.

'' Good. Now how long will it take for him to come to his senses? '' Radhan said leisurely as he brought a mat from his storage space and sat cross-legged on it.

Jasmine's face twitched seeing him acting like he was at home in front of her.

' This hateful bastard! If only this princess wasn't poisoned I'd smack him to death '

'' It won't be too long, at most half an hour '' she huffed as she turned her eyes back to Yun Che ignoring him.

Radhan smiled a little and was even more sure that the one in front of him was but a little girl with a huge power. He closed his eyes and chose to wait for him to wake up.

After almost half an hour Yun Che started stirring and opened his eyes, he took a deep breath calming his raging heartbeat. ' Finally, the pain is over '

He examined his profound veins and felt excited when he sensed his new veins.

Having finished the examination, he sat up intending to thank Jasmine, but he stopped when found two pairs of eyes staring at him. His heart started racing when he found that the second person was his Brother-in-law.

"Jasmine, ah Brother-In-law when did you get here? '' he asked while unconsciously hiding his right hand behind his back.

Radhan saw his action and heard what he called him; he snorted as he stood up and said

'' Don't call me brother-in-law i wasted all this time just to get this matter over with ''

He waved his hand revealing torn pieces of paper he looked at Yun Che and said

'' This is your marriage certificate, my sister chose to end this matter. I came here just to let you know, well, you deserve to know after all you were once her husband, even if it was only in name. ''

Yun Che took the news rather calmly, although it felt bitter to him to get the news like this in the form of torn paper, he understood it was the best choice, While it was true he felt attracted to the girl due to her beauty he had no love for her in this short time.

He lifted his head and looked at him '' Yes I understand. I'm sorry that I caused you this much trouble, I suffered as well and so did my grandfather and aunt... Right now they are imprisoned in the Xiao Clan. I hope that you'll forgive us ''

Radhan fell silent at the boy's words, he had no intention of retaliating against the Xiao clan. His way of revenge was of blood and bones, and he had no reason to take it out on these three family members. The matter was settled when his sister tore the paper and that was the conclusion of the debacle.

'' Can you give it to me? I deserve to have it, after all, I'm the one being divorced '' Yun Che said while stretching his arm up.

Radhan floated the torn paper with his profound energy and turned his back, leaving a few words with his departure.

'' With this, the matter is settled. You don't owe us anything and we're not related anymore. Make sure to keep your secrets well hidden, many will kill for them '' Then the space in front of him cracked and he disappeared inside it.

Jasmine felt that it was hard to take her eyes from his back as she looked in amazement and wondered out loud.

'' He tore the fabric of space and traveled through it? That's how he arrived here without me noticing! But the amount of understanding of space laws and the control needed to do that is… ''

'' What did you say? '' Yun Che similarly was in shock, but he broke out of it at Jasmine's words.

Jasmine turned back to him and said in a serious tone

'' Yun Che, Listen to me don't you ever provoke that man, if there's one person who can end me on this planet, it's him. The amount of power his soul holds is horrifying i never felt something like that before! He shouldn't be here at all! he should be in the realm of the gods... ''

'' What! What realm of gods? '' Yun Che asked Jasmine rather loudly, who only now figured out her blunder.

'' Shut up! Don't ask too many questions and get up. It's time for you to train. ''

Radhan appeared above the sky outside The Scarlet Mountain Range. He spread his soul sense covering the profound sky continent then it kept extending and finally it completely covered the whole planet

'' Interesting, it looks like there are more places this planet can offer… I guess it's time to go on a journey once again. ''

He took his sound transmission jade and messaged his sister telling her that he was going to train and might leave for a long period so she shouldn't be worried and inform their father if he took too long to return.

With that done he blasted through the sky, he didn't travel through space because he wanted to experience everything.

'' it's time for me to train my physical body and raise my cultivation… the time to visit the realm of gods is near… ''
