It was quite an interesting place to wake up in.

The count had spared no expense when furnishing and decorating the place, and in the light of the day that was only more apparent.

Not that the room had been hard to see at night, of course, but it seemed apparent some of the decorations were specifically designed to be resplendent in the glow of the sun.

Sunlight shone in through the window, casting its rays upon the rich carpet in brilliant splashes of color. It streamed across the expanse of the bed she lay on, making her feel warm and happy in her groggy state.

She opened her eyes, blinking a few times, stretching with a soft hum.

This place was so comfortable and beautiful. Even having slept in it and waking up to look at it again the next morning, the place was breath taking. It looked nicer than any of her other vacation homes so far.
