Kapitel 88: I'm not delusional, I'm hopeful

Isabelle crossed her arms and drew in a breath - mostly to steady herself - as she walked across the room. What moonflower they'd managed to gather so far lined up in vials on the table, mixed into the poultice required to cure the curse-illness. 

It...was not as much as she wanted to see.

She glanced over at Archibald. "How goes negotiations with other kingdoms for more of this?"

The aging servant gave her a grim look and bowed.

"We have sent emissaries out, of course. However, we haven't been given much response. The rather...cool relationship Nevremia has with most kingdoms at the moment does not...encourage enthusiasm when we seek out help."

He shook his head. "Isca and Rozemyne are eager to offer us help, but Rozemyne is not aware of any moonflower crops in its lands, and Isca's...well. Most of what you see before you is Iscani moonflower."

She chewed the inside of her cheek.

"And our foraging efforts?"
