Kapitel 54: #54 The fight against Sasori and Daidara
There were now nine of us trying to pursue Sasori and Daidara. Pakkun led our pack, we had already been on the road for 5 hours and had left the desert behind us.
Pakkun: Sato, if you defeat one of them, you can pet my paw. It is a very special paw, it brings luck.
Sato: I'm sure it brings luck for you Pakkun, but I'd rather not do it.
Mara: If Sato doesn't want to, can I pet it? You're such a cute little puppy.
Pack bit Mara right in her head.
Mara: Take him down ahhh...he's a bad dog, I take back everything I said.
Pakkun let go of her again and ran ahead. Mara now had bite marks spread across her face.
Mara: Ouch, that hurts so much. Sato, can you....?
Mara gave me a cat look and I rolled my eyes and healed her.
Kakashi: And that's why Pakkun should be called wild and dangerous.
Pakkun: But I'm no fighter.
Sato: The scent is getting stronger guys, they must be close.
Pakkun: Are you sure, that you're not an Inuzuka, Sato? I see it the same way you do, the three of them are no more than 2 km ahead of us.
Sai: Everyone get ready for battle.
Chiyo: I'll take care of my grandson.
Daidara: Sasori, there are enemies coming at us from 6 a.m. This is all your fault, It's just because you didn't want to fly with me.
Sasori: I just can't stand you and your ugly bird.
Daidara: You just don't know anything about true art. You will immediately see the beauty of my creations.
Daidara reached into his side pocket with his right hand and it began to swallow clay into a mouth that was in his hand.
Daidara reached his hand behind him and the mouth in his hand spat out spiders made from the clay he took from his bag. His clay spiders spread out in all directions. We arrived at the area where Daidara placed the spiders.
Daidara formed the Seal of Confrontation with his fingers and shouted, "Katsu!"
BOOM! BOOM! There were small explosions everywhere next to us and the clay spiders tried to get to our bodies. We had to constantly dodge because new spiders kept appearing and exploding when we got too close to them.
Daidara: That won't stop them much longer, you fool, and I don't have enough clay left because of my last fight.
Sasori: Then you should have organized it better, you birdbrain.
Daidara: Is it okay with you if I fly ahead to the cave and you stop them?
Sasori: Get away, you idiot, before I change my mind, but this will cost you dearly.
Daidara: That's why you're with me, dolly. Let's talk about money later.
Sasori turned around and waited for us to arrive and Daidara flew away. It didn't take long and we arrived by Sasori.
Naruto: Where did you guys hide Gaara?
Naruto let the Nine-Tails chakra flow through him and red chakra enveloped him. Naruto's eyes turned red and he was very angry.
Sasori: He's about to be sucked out, but you shouldn't worry about him, but rather about yourself.
Naruto's fingernails turned into claws and he ran towards Sasori. At that moment, Sasori saw his grandmother and punched Naruto through a tree with his iron tail.
Sasori: You even took my grandmother out of her coffin?
Chiyo: So it's really you and I thought you were dead long ago. Then I have to put an end to you now.
Sasori: That's what you probably dream about at night, grandmother, you're just a shadow of your heyday.
Sato: He's yours, I'll take care of the other one and free Gaara.
Kakashi: Got it, we'll meet later.
I accelerated and flew over Sasori. However, Sasori shot poison spikes at me from his wrists when I was above him. I avoided them and continued on my way. Meanwhile, Sakura jumped over to Naruto and healed a deep wound that Naruto suffered on his chest from Sasori's metal tail.
Shiyo: I see you're better at handling your puppets than you were back then.
Kakashi: Let's attack together, then we should be able to take him down without any problems.
Yamato, Sai, Mara and Hinata's nodded.
Hinata took her bow from her back and it unfolded. Hinata grabbed the string with her right hand and concentrated chakra on it, rotating her chakra around the string. Hinata pulled on the string and released it and a rotating dark blue chakra arrow shot past Kakashi as he ran towards Sasori with a Chidori and removed his mask before his Sharingan. Yamato simultaneously created tree roots that pinned Sasori's body to the ground and Mara placed explosion traps around Sasori with her shurikens. Sasori, in response to Yamato, rotated his metal tail around himself, cutting the roots that held him. But Hinata's chakra arrow was now directly in front of him, Sasori tried to block it with his tail, but when the arrow hit the metal tail, Sasori noticed that the arrow pierced through the metal with extreme strength and so Sasori jumped out of his puppet with his main body. Kakashi saw this and tried to catch Sasori directly with his Chidori, but Sasori opened his hand and a poisonous mist spread in front of him and Kakashi backed away while Mara now used the sign of confrontation and activated her explosion traps. There were now many explosions in the purple poison mist and no one could see whether Sasori had already been killed or not.
Kakashi: Don't let your guard down yet!
The next moment, shurikens shot towards Kakashi out of the mist. Kakashi fended them off with a kunai in his left hand, but next a cascade of wooden hands shot out of the mist, which Kakashi no longer had time to dodge and could only watch helplessly with his Sharingan as he would be hit by them at any moment.
BOOM! The wooden hands struck and a large cloud of dust raised over Kakashi's location.
But the next moment Kakashi shot out of the cloud as if he were being thrown away by an invisible force.
Chiyo: That was close.
Kakashi looked behind him and shouted, "Thanks for the rescue!"
The fog slowly cleared and a boy with red hair appeared with a circle on his chest with the word scorpion written on it.
Chiyo: You still look the same as you did back then. So you turned yourself into a puppet?
Sasori: Are you getting sentimental now, you old fool?
Chiyo: No, that just shows me that you are no longer a human being.
Mara: What, so he turned himself into a puppet, is such a thing even possible?
Chiyo: I don't know how he did it, but he's always been obsessed with puppets and now he's one himself.
Sasori: Grandmother, I am neither a weak shell called human, nor am I a puppet, I am both. You people disgust me, you die so easily and lose your beauty and strength as you get older. But if I turn you into puppets, then I will relieve you of this frightening fate and you could be young forever and fight at my side with all your youth and strength.
Chiyo: You're sick Sasori, I should have seen your sick behavior before, but I couldn't admit it to myself.
Sasori: You should actually understand my art best, grandmother.
The next moment, Sasori made a puppet appear in front of him. The puppet had long black hair and was wearing a piece of cloth.
Chiyo: That can't be right, that's the...
Sasori: This is the third Kazegage, I killed him and turned him into one of my dolls. And now I'll show you true art.
The doll opened its mouth and slowly let out metal shavings. These gathered in the air and then formed spears and shot at Kakashi, Mara and Chiyo. The next moment all heard:
"CLANG"
A wave of heat that melted the ground hit Sasori, burning every part of him and the metal spears stopped in the air and spread into pieces across the ground.
Naruto: This is for hitting me asshole.
Chiyo and everyone else were stunned.
Chiyo: You took him down?
Naruto: The guy was such a psycho, so I channeled more chakra into my punch, so that I wouldn't have to listen to his nonsense anymore.
Sai: Then I guess that I can no longer use my grass blade drawing that I placed under him.
Yamato: Good job Naruto, now let's go after Sato and maybe madam Chiyo wants to pack up the remains of the dead.
Chiyo: I will, I'll come straight after you.
A few tears came to Chiyo's eyes, but she wiped them away and collected the remains.
While the others had a pretty relaxed fight, I caught up with Daidara after a short time and he was forced to stop.
Daidara: I bet you're that Senju I've heard so much about?
Sato: That's me and you must be the kid, who likes to play with clay?
Daidara: It's not just clay, it's true art.
Sato: Is it? If it's about art, then you've chosen the wrong path, true art is your own body.
Daidara started laughing and said, "Then you don't mind fighting with your art against mine?"
Sato: I know you don't have much clay left, so you better use all that you have left.

Sato: I don't want to endanger Gaara's life, so I'll fly up in the air with your art, are you okay with that?
Daidara: That's very kind of you, if you dissolve into particles, then I can just move on with him.
I took the bomb and flew up.
Daidara looked through his lens and detonated the bomb when I was high enough.
Daidara: What an idiot, Katsu!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM.
Daidara saw a gigantic explosion in the air whose pressure wave knocked the trees on the ground out of the ground.
Daidara: This is true art.
He was about to go to Gaara to pick him up again, but his eyes caught sight of a silhouette next to him and he couldn't believe his eyes.
Daidara: How did you...How could you... Fuck!
Sato: That tickled, apparently my art won.
The next second I was holding Daidara's head in my arms.
Sato: I thought you were about to unpack your suicide bomb, it's your own fault.
I removed the lens from his eye and put it in my bag. Afterwards I went to Gaara and healed him. The others joined me and Gaara woke up again after a while.
Sato: Gaara, if you want to guarantee the safety of your village, then I will take you and a person of your choice to a safe place, where you cannot be found.
Gaara: Do you think Akatsuki will come for me again?
Sato: I'm pretty sure of that, but their leader will definitely be a lot stronger than the rest of them.
Shiyo: You want to take our Kage with you?
Sato: It would only be for one to two years, you can run the village for as long as that.
Gaara: Can I have some time to think about this?
Sato: Of course, but don't think too long, I know we were being watched during our fight.
Chiyo: So there were 3 members of Akatsuki?
Kakashi: This makes our situation worse.
Yamato: We should quickly tell Tsunade about this.
Sai: I would have been interested to know where they both wanted to go with Gaara.
Sato: We'll accompany you to Sunagakure and you'll consider my offer.
We then went back to Sunagakure and were surprised halfway by hundreds of Suna Ninja's who all came to support us against Akatsuki. Gaara saw Sunagakure was standing up for him and started to cry slightly and later decided to accept my offer, to not endanger his village and friends.
