Kapitel 160: Chapter 160: Serial Car Accidents

After leaving the villa, William Cole readied himself to hail a taxi, only to realize that he was in the suburbs.

There were no towns ahead, no shops behind, and utterly no taxis in the area.

He had no choice but to walk towards the city along the road.

"Beep, beep" a car horn sounded, and a red Ferrari pulled up next to William. The window rolled down, revealing a beautiful woman.

"Were you abandoned?

Planning to walk back? How pitiful.

Get in!" Minnie Wright's voice was sharp and clear.

William was surprised, he opened the door and sat in the passenger's seat, "Minnie, what brings you here?"

Minnie rolled her eyes: "Obviously, you didn't know I was coming. When I was visiting Thirteen Hall, I happened to see you and your ex-wife leave."

"I was worried about your safety, so I followed."

"Turns out I was right, if I hadn't come after you, you would be walking all the way back to the city now."

William gave a wry smile: "I had no choice, negotiations broke down."
