Even the ones who witnessed the black wolf's embarrassing moments couldn't help but sneer in their hearts. The young lord's mouth was so foul that it made them feel as though he only deserved to be fed by the female with smelly dung. 

'The third young lord is so pretentious!' They grumbled inwardly.

Having said that, Old Erne and the others are either just warrior wolves or normal pack members. They have no wish to clash with one of their tribe's potential successors, one with alpha blood even, by dropping off his dirty laundry in the open. 

Thus, they could not voice their disagreement on his claims. Besides, they had no qualms about besieging some hateful ferals in exchange for a healthy female. The accommodation she can get inside their tribe is akin to heaven compared to a hell of a life holed up in shambles while being a feral breeder.
