Midori marched alongside her brother, who took her with him to interrogate the man presumed dead a long time ago.

"Yes," Arata said. He too barely believed what just happened. "Just several days after we confronted Kiyoshi Matsumoto at his family's Christmas banquet, this man was caught for trying to rob a house in a remote town some hundred miles away from Tokyo."

"What a coincidence."

"Oh, yes, what a bloody coincidence indeed," Arata gritted with his teeth. "It almost seems like Kiyoshi Matsumoto smoked him out to take our focus away from him."
