Kapitel 102: 102 – Teary Reunion

"Cass…!"

In the span of a second Uriel's eyes turned blurry from the tears that filled his vision, and his knees turned weak as he sauntered forward.

All that existed in his vision was the cage and Cassandra and all else became a blur.

Before he realized it he was at the cage and much to his surprise the gate opened with a mere touch of his hand.

Uriel fell to his knees next to her and took in the sight of her blond hair, it was a bit of a mess and her fair skin was caked in dirt, tear stains on her face made the dirt on her face all the clearer.

Uriel reached down and stroked her cheek with the most gentle of touches, almost as if touching a fragile piece of glass that could beak with the smallest of pressures.

Just having her in front of him, felt like a dream, a dream from which he never wanted to wake from, if he could remain like this forever he would be happy.
