Kapitel 24: The First Night

KARA'S POV

"Courtney...I know...didn't work out... you..."

It took me a moment to recognize the voice of the person speaking. It was Sam my ex-fling who broke my heart before I died. I couldn't hear everything he was saying unfortunately so I couldn't make sense of it. Just like all the other times, I couldn't move my body like I was experiencing sleep paralysis.

When I finally awoke I sat up on the bed and brought my knees up to my chest, resting my head on them. Great, now even Sam was haunting my dreams. I tried to calm my shaking body. Thinking of Sam I wondered how he was doing. What was his reaction when he heard of my passing? Did he even care? I mean our relationship wasn't like that.
