"I'm sure you are wondering why I called you here. We have a situation that requires your unique abilities, and I would like you to work as a team to handle it," the general explained. Ashley raised an eyebrow, sensing the gravity of the upcoming mission.

"And if we refuse?" Josh inquired, probing the boundaries of their agency.

"You will be free to go, and another group will be selected in your place," the general answered, his tone firm and unwavering.

"All of us can leave?" Dylan sought clarification.

"Myra will remain and join whichever team goes on the mission," the general stated, singling out Myra for her indispensable abilities. Dylan clenched his fist in frustration, and Myra looked down, resigned to her fate.

"It's not like you gave us a choice," Ashley remarked, expressing a sentiment shared by the group. The general finally cracked a smile.
