Kapitel 25: THE KISS

As Ashley approached Myra, she noticed Myra busy undoing her distinctive purple braids while engaged in a lengthy phone call. "Need help with that?" Ashley offered.

Myra nodded appreciatively, and Ashley settled down to assist in unraveling the intricate braids. The two friends spent the next two hours carefully undoing the braids, Ashley occasionally combing through Myra's dark hair.

During this time, Myra continued her conversation with her family. "Mummy, it's late. I'll call you later.... Okay, bye-bye," Myra finally said, concluding the extended call.

Intrigued, Ashley inquired, "So you were speaking to your mom the whole time?"

Myra chuckled, "Oh lord no, my entire family."

Ashley, curious about the prolonged conversation, remarked, "You spoke for a long time, so they must have been really concerned."

Myra laughed, "It's quite funny, but apparently they were praying for me when I called."
