After some time, we both made our way back to the party only to have a rather unexpected scene awaiting our arrival.

While the party was going on, some sounds could be heard and it quickly caught the attention of the old Madame and those present.

Quickly sending a servant to go check what's going on, Ling, the old Madame's personal maid made her way into the party while dragging a rather familiar face behind her.

And surprisingly, it was Lain.. Ming Xia's personal maid and the guest weren't the only one startled, Ming Xia was just as surprised as they were.

Annoyed by the sudden commotion, the old Madame shouted, "Ling, what is the meaning of this? What is going on here?"

"I apologize for barging in like this old madam but you won't believe me when I tell you that I caught this maid stealing one of Missy's third gifts!" Ling said aloud, causing a sudden verge of murmurs to fill the room.
