Kapitel 40: Chapter 39- Friend And Reward

"Let's go to school together! We're friends, aren't we? Isn't it normal that we go together?" Kaede asked innocently.

However, she didn't realize that her request was really troublesome. No, it was very very troublesome and for many reasons. Perhaps the most prevalent one was the fact that she was Kaede Mitsuhara!

She was a celebrity and a girl with many fans across the whole country and even internationally. Going to school with her would create rumors and end up making Arthur stand out easily.

'Isn't she aware of how bad she would look if she's seen with me?' Rubbing the back of his head, Arthur tried to find a way to refuse her. However, considering how much he grew to like her as a friend, he really didn't want to break this relationship because of his own cowardice or insecurities.

Kaede seemed noticed that long silence and she immediately thought that he didn't like what she said. 

"Of course, if you don't want it, we don't have to."
