"…" Tim Morrison suddenly raised his head, looking at Samuel Johnson, "No." His eyes slightly darkened as he lowered his voice, "What's mine, should never be surrendered to others. Not even to my own brother, absolutely not allowed."
His gaze was calm and resolute, a stark contrast to the bewildered and pained expression he had just moments ago.
It seemed that in these short few minutes, he had made his choice.
His demeanor actually filled him with a bit of envy.
The relationship between Grace Murdock and himself wasn't like the dead end he and Amanda Smith had reached; their future was filled with endless possibilities and even if they ultimately failed, it would merely be a regret. Unlike them, it was not a deeply rooted hatred.
Samuel Johnson was silent for a long while before he finally nodded, "Since you've made your decision, then go ahead with it. As a brother, I don't have much experience to share with you, just don't regret it."
