[At Present]
"Ugh!" I groaned, feeling a headache. "If it's going to be like this every time I remember something, I'd better get some aspirin."
"I hope to regain all my memories. Remembering in fragments doesn't help much."
"Maybe my brain is handling it this way, prioritizing my focus on my surroundings."
"Perhaps in a place where I feel safe, I can relax and let my brain process all the memories of this life." Shaking my head, I decided it's best not to waste more time and continued on my way.
"At least I have an answer now for why I was in that hallway. It seems that after waiting for a few hours, I heard strange sounds, which is why I went to investigate."
"I had a mental breakdown from the fear of seeing the dead body and hearing the roars. That triggered the memories of my previous life."
"That's why when I woke up from the collapse, I didn't remember anything, and that's what allowed the memories of my previous life to be the only thing I remembered."
"What a unique way, isn't it? Frighten yourself and remember your past life."
Shaking my head at my little joke, I decided to continue on my way to the folding doors, entering my access code, which had been changed to "345678."
"Bip"
"Durm!"
The doors opened, and as I looked at what was behind them, I could see a corridor with two raptors seemingly sleeping at the door leading to the library.
"Look at them, sleeping so peacefully, bastards. ¿Are they taking a nap after their appetizer? ¿Do they need a kiss from a prince to wake up?"
Sorry, but it seems I'm not their prince~
I won't lie; I was very nervous. It seems like I made jokes to calm myself down.
With a sigh and a silent prayer that they wouldn't wake up, I moved on tiptoe, trying to make as little noise as possible.
I was lucky to pass without waking them.
I decided not to kill them, as the noise might attract more.
I headed to the computer room because I remembered from the game that the testing area was locked, and a code had to be entered on the computers to open it again.
Entering the computer room, I couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief.
"Phew! That was dangerous, but fortunately, nothing happened."
As I looked around the room, I couldn't help but remember that behind the large screen displaying some data, there was the experimental laboratory, which was currently experiencing a distortion in spacetime.
"Too bad I can't enter. It requires two people with access cards to slide them in at the same time to enter."
Taking one of the access cards from my lab coat pocket, I couldn't help but grimace.
"Tch!"
"If I had been with someone else, I could have opened it and taken one of the emergency evacuation routes in that laboratory."
Setting that aside, I approached the computer that was turned on and displayed:
<<weapons testing room locked>>
"As I suspected, fortunately, I still remember the access code because I memorized all the puzzles and access codes." Entering the numbers "7248," I saw the message:
<<lock unlocked>>
Nodding in satisfaction, I headed for the door to the left of the experiment room entrance and proceeded to open it.
"Durm!"
Upon entering the hallway, I noticed that the lasers were active. I moved to the panel and deactivated the one in front of me when I suddenly heard a loud scream.
"¡Aurgg!"
"It seems like a smallfoot is being electrocuted and burned by the other lasers located around the corner. That means there has been a power failure, and now all the locks that require the DDK disc will be locked unless I insert the key disc."
"Phew! Fortunately, I managed to get here without needing the discs." Ignoring the crying little foot, I entered the research meeting room. As soon as I entered, I saw a DDK disc on the table, and without hesitation, I picked it up and put it in the pocket of my lab coat.
I decided to ignore the diary next to the disc and went directly to the door of the test room.
Upon entering, I carefully examined the room to see if there was a ventilation duct through which little feet could enter. Seeing that there wasn't, I let out a long sigh of relief.
"¡Ufff!"
"Finally, I made it. But before I proceed with my plans, I decided to move to the door panel and close it. I don't want any surprises with a smallfoot coming in while I'm distracted. In the game, that's what happened to Regina, and she almost died because of it."
Looking at the room again, I noticed a scientist sitting against the wall of the gas experiment chamber. He seemed to be in agony due to the gases being released.
"¿How the hell did he end up there activating the gases? I guess it's a mystery."
Approaching the panel to deactivate the gases, I noticed the buttons "Red, green, and blue." "I need to press the right ones to enter and see if I can save the poor man."
Recalling the puzzle, I began to press the correct buttons: "First, blue, and then green."
"¡Tssss!"
Seeing that the gas had dissipated, and the door had unlocked, I entered and approached the scientist. He weakly raised his face and, looking at me, I saw a glimmer of recognition in his tired eyes.
"Everything will be fine..." all I could say because the scientist interrupted me.
With a trembling voice, he said, "Axel, you must stop Kirk. I don't know what he's planning... Take this; it will give you access to his personal laboratory..." That was the last thing he said before he coughed and collapsed.
I checked his pulse and realized he had just died. I could only shake my head in sorrow.
Looking at what he gave me, I saw it was a rectangular chip with some numbers written in marker in the middle: "3695."
"¡Ugg!" Holding my head because this time the headache was more intense, to the point where I felt dizzy and almost fell.
Sweating profusely, the pain slowly began to fade, and I finally regained all my memories of this life.
"It's funny to know that in this life I was an orphan, I have the same hobbies, fortunately in this life I went to my military service, where they taught me to shoot and a bit of hand to hand fighting, well that will serve me well in this situation."
Letting out a sigh of relief as the headache disappeared, I proceeded to leave the gas chamber and head for my goal.
Looking at the prototype weapons displayed in a case, I couldn't help but smile. Here were the beauties that would help me increase my chances of survival.
Approaching the lock next to the case, I pulled out my ID and swiped it.
"Trum"
Taking both guns from the case, I couldn't help but exclaim, "What beauty!" Holding them in my hands, I read the descriptions on the case:
Casull 454: A semi-automatic pistol with a large caliber that fires .454 Casull bullets. These bullets are extremely powerful and designed to cause devastating damage.
It has an elegant and sinister design with silver details and a black grip.
Jackal: Similar to the Casull 454 in terms of design and fire capacity but fires smaller and faster .13mm caliber bullets. Jackal bullets are suitable for precise and rapid shots.
With the advanced technology of this world, I managed to recreate Alucard's pistols, reducing the weapon's recoil, allowing anyone to use them with ease.
Their creation and elegant design led to requests for further improvement and distribution among soldiers.
"Curiously, the idea came to me in a dream."
"It was so detailed and realistic that the next day after dreaming about them, I set out to create them. Maybe memories of my past life leaked and I interpreted it as a dream."
"Destiny was on my side, giving me the opportunity to finish them the night before."
Looking at the other creations that were still in testing, I moved towards a long-sleeved lycra shirt made of graphene nanofibers, giving it the hardness close to metal as well as great flexibility.
"As a prototype, it doesn't have the diamond-like hardness it should have due to graphene, but it will still serve to protect me from the bites and claws of those darn velociraptors."
"Hmm? What's this?" Looking up, I was surprised to see a grappling gun similar to the one Ada Wong uses in Resident Evil.
Approaching it, I checked its description:
"Grappling gun made of graphene nanofiber, allowing flexibility and durability, with a capacity of 200 kilograms and a tungsten hook."
"Oh!"
"But look at this beauty. I'm taking it, even though it's still a prototype, it will serve me well." Seeing that there was nothing else I needed, I decided to take off my lab coat and then my shirt to put on the lycra.
"Uh!"
"Look at those abs. Fortunately, I did a lot of exercise in this life. It's rare to see my physical body at this level. In my previous life, I wasn't in such good shape; it's certainly a welcomed change."
Putting on the lycra, I was surprised by how soft and light it felt. It was like being naked.
Putting on my button-up shirt, I took the holsters for the pistols and put them on, as well as the vest that allowed me to carry ammunition.
Fortunately, there were five magazines with a capacity of thirty rounds.
"Blessed technology that makes the magazines not so large and allows compacting the bullets."
Taking the grappling gun, I put it on my waist.
"Fortunately, it doesn't obstruct walking, and it's very light. Nanotechnology really works wonders."
"It's a pity there are no mirrors to see my appearance here. I'll have a chance to see how I look later; the situation hasn't given me that opportunity."
Taking both pistols, I stored Jackal in its holster and kept Casull. Just then, an announcement sounded.
"Well, damn, I guess it's time to get moving and change the battery. The escape helicopter is in area B3, if I remember correctly, and to get there, I need to restore power."
With more confidence, I decided it was time to get going.
"Well, it's time to rock, baby!"
...
[At the same time our protagonist made his way to the test room, outside the facility, three individuals could be seen entering through the back door.]
"All right, this is the first checkpoint. Recess is over, kids. It's time to start," Gail said authoritatively, looking at the dark surroundings and having a bad feeling.
"Something's not right... There are no lights inside," he noted.
"Uh... maybe the guards had a wild night; you know... some songs... some dances," Rick commented with a playful tone.
Ignoring him, Gail proceeded to enter the facility, and before opening the door, he turned and spoke with a hint of mockery,
"Stay here, kid; let me handle the guards."
A bit bewildered, Rick turned to Regina. "Hey, did you hear how he called me?"
With a bit of laughter in her voice, Regina replied, "Forget it. Let Gail handle this."
Seeing that his communicator had lit up green, Rick turned back to her. "Okay, way clear."
With that, both of them entered the facility...
The technology in that world is very advanced, so can you give me a recommendation of a weapon that the mc could create?
