Zarina was in the middle of combing her hair at her vanity table when a loud knock echoed through her room, followed by a man's voice calling her name.
With a sigh, she set down her comb and made her way to the door, opening it to find Charles standing there with his usual awkward smile.
"Good morning, young miss. Are you ready? Breakfast is served, and the young master is waiting in the dining room," Charles informed her politely.
"Uh, sure. I'll be down in a moment, just need to grab a few things," Zarina replied, closing the door behind her. She quickly grabbed her phone and bag, stealing a glance at her reflection in the mirror.
She was dressed in a white satin long-sleeve dress that fell above her knees, paired with flat sandals.
As she made her way to the stairs, she noticed Charles still lingering by the door.
Furrowing her brows, she asked, "Why are you still here? Is there something you need to tell me?"
