Kapitel 161: -158- Linwin of Zaun

The Piltovan Mountains, a relatively desolate place on the Valoran map.

Heading north leads to the powerful nation of Noxus on the Valoran continent.

Heading south leads to the throat of the world, Piltover.

At this moment, on the Piltovan Mountains, a group of soldiers, wearing black and red armor, carrying fine iron axes and wielding short hammers, marched while transporting a massive black cage.

The cage was engraved with strange green runes, and successive runes shone through a black cloth, making it impossible to see what was inside.

"General Kolck!"

The man leading the army stopped and looked up as the soldiers around him exclaimed, causing Kolck to furrow his brow.

"Oh my god."

"What is that?"

But as Kolck looked up, he too was lost in amazement.

In the distance, above the dome, Kolck saw light.

It was a massive, bright net of light, illuminating Piltover under the dark night.

"Magic, that's the magic of the people of Piltover!"

Kolck exclaimed, "Our speculation was correct; the Imperial army led by Wilton was indeed defeated by Piltover's mages."

The soldiers of Noxus, hearing this, simultaneously swallowed their saliva.

Noxians were not unfamiliar with magic, but the power to pierce the sky like this was something they had never seen before.

"Why does Piltover have such powerful mages?"

Kolck asked the soldiers, but, of course, he did not get an answer.

Instead, a war artisan walked up to him and said, "General Kolck, we can't proceed any further. Beyond the next mountain peak is the River Pilt, just a few dozen kilometers away from Piltover."

As an excellent scout with outstanding physical abilities and a good mind, the war artisan quickly analyzed the current situation and continued, "General, Sion doesn't distinguish between friend and foe. He'll move toward the area with the most vitality. We can release Sion right here."

Kolck nodded.

No need to worry.

Even with Piltover's powerful mages, they were no match for Sion.

Because Sion had no fear of death.

Sion was, in fact, a dead man!

A man resurrected with blood magic and pieced together with corpse parts.

If Demacia's guardian is the giant stone statue that absorbs magic, then Noxus's war god is the the resurrected Hand of Noxus!

"All troops, listen up!"

"The Second Battalion will arrive soon, within an hour at most, and we have Sion leading the way. In the rear, there are two thousand soldiers rushing to the front. So, we have nothing to worry about!"

Kolck raised his right hand high, "Victory! Will belong to Noxus!"

"Piltover and Zaun will pay for their arrogance and disrespect!"

"We will make them realize the consequences of offending the empire!"

Under Kolck's words, along with the low growls resembling beasts coming from the cage, the Noxian soldiers immediately dispelled their fear of Piltover's powerful mages. They raised their weapons and shouted loudly, "Yes, General!"

Their mission was not to assist Sion in attacking Piltover.

Their mission was only to release Sion here.

So that Sion could sense the vitality of Piltover.

Then, they could regroup with the Imperial army coming from the rear, in two days, they would join forces with the Imperial army to march on Piltover.

In just two days, Sion could wipe out the people of Piltover and Zaun.

Their task was to clean up and prepare to recover Sion.

After all, Sion would also slaughter the Noxian soldiers who would eventually try to stop him.

Every time they recovered Sion, dozens or even hundreds of soldiers' lives would be sacrificed.

Kolck took out a stone from his pocket, an artificially made rune stone that could unlock the runes on the cage to release Sion.

Now, under Kolck's instructions, dozens of robust Noxian soldiers exerted force together, pushing the iron cage off the cart.

"Boom!"

The iron cage crashed heavily onto the muddy ground, creating a depression, and dust filled the air. Then, a soldier uncovered the huge cloth.

"Roar!"

As the torches swept by, accompanied by a roar, the creature inside the massive iron cage was revealed—a man bound by thick iron chains, with eyes the size of fists, filled with fierceness, glaring around him.

"Blood, blood, blood!"

His entire body was covered in tattered iron armor, fastened with bolts.

A strange steel spike was embedded in his jaw, more like an inverted crown?

And on his waist and abdomen, there was a hollow cavity the size of a human head, from which the aura of blood magic overflowed, spreading a foul odor in the surroundings.

There were wounds all over his body, bulging muscles resembling hardened stones. In the dark night, illuminated by torches, his skin appeared sickly pale, or rather, not just pale, but completely devoid of any trace of blood.

"All men, step back!"

"Blood, blood!"

"I crave, war!"

The bloodthirsty monster glared with its eyes at General Kolck approaching him.

Kolck, with a solemn expression, approached Sion. "Lord Sion, can you hear my words?"

"Blood!"

"Roar!"

Sion suddenly roared and struggled violently, the iron chains shaking intensely, almost tipping the cage. Soldiers rushed around, pulling forcefully at the exposed massive iron chains.

Four huge iron chains, each pulled by dozens of soldiers.

However, even with dozens of strong Noxian soldiers pulling Sion, they couldn't control him.

"War, war, war! Another war!"

"Yes, Lord Sion, the empire needs you now!"

Kolck approached the cage, placing his hands on it. He spoke in a deep voice, "Look ahead, Lord Sion. Your task is to unleash war and slaughter everyone in that city!"

Listening to Kolck's words, Sion gradually calmed down.

He had memories—fragments, chaotic and jumbled, but they told him who he was.

He was a general of the empire.

He was the instigator of war.

A calamity to the enemies!

"No more chains? Kill! I want to kill them all!"

"Yes, Lord Sion!" Kolck stood in front of Sion, who had not yet entered a state of war.

Seeing Sion's gaze shift from his face to Piltover, to the city under the light, Kolck knew his task was complete.

This was a ritual.

To tell Sion, while he was still "sober," what he needed to do.

"Release me! I want war!"

"Cage? Open the cage!"

Kolck quickly stepped back, and after he retreated, all the soldiers dropped the iron chains. They quickly approached Kolck.

"Lord Sion, go, kill the enemies of the empire!"

Kolck crushed the rune stone in his hand.

In an instant, the runic stone on the cage shattered, and the runes on Sion's iron chains also dissipated. Moving his shoulders, he gripped his weapon.

This undead war god from hell—

Raised the large axe in his hand high, roaring:

"Free! Kill, kill!"

"Die! Insects!"

"Boom!"

With a heavy swing, the cage made of runic iron shattered and collapsed. Sion, like a unleashed beast, roared into the night sky, then charged straight toward Piltover.

He has to cross this mountain in front of him, he has to step over that river.

He must kill, kill, kill!

"Hurry, follow him!"

Kolck quickly shouted, ensuring that Sion was indeed charging towards Piltover.

Kolck mounted his horse, and the soldiers beside him hastened their steps, running towards the forest under the dark shadows.

"Boom!"

But as they approached, a resounding noise made Kolck stop. He raised his hand while sitting on the horse, a nervous expression on his face.

The destructive power of Lord Sion was undeniable, but his unpredictability was also real.

Therefore, the possibility of him suddenly turning around and attacking them was not impossible.

"All men, form a formation, prepare the iron chains and rune stones!"

Kolck roared.

However...

"G-General, look, it's Lord Sion."

"Roar!"

Under the black shadows, a colossal monster roared, then charged into the woods.

"Clang!"

A sharp sound echoed, accompanied by a flash of silver light. Sion appeared again in Kolck's eyes.

Sion had been knocked away by something.

He lay on the ground but quickly got up.

Then, Sion charged again.

He roared madly, excitedly shouting, "Enemies, enemies, enemies! Die, die, die!"

"I will crush you! Insects!"

"Bang!"

But Sion came to a sudden halt.

"Wait, was Lord Sion blocked by someone?"

As a scout, the War Mason had excellent vision. He saw what was obstructing Sion – a person, a tiny human.

In front of Sion, the person's height didn't even reach Sion's waist.

Yet, with just one strike, he had repelled Sion.

Cold sweat dripped from Kolck's forehead.

Someone who could repel Sion?

How is that possible? He was the former Hand of Noxus, the most powerful man in the entire empire.

Even the current Hand would be just a toy in his presence.

Could such a monster be repelled by a human?

Kolck found it hard to believe.

But when Sion was pushed back into the mountains, and he emerged from the woods himself.

Kolck believed.

It was a young man dressed plainly.

He held a massive silver-white sword in his hand.

His expression was stern, and then, he unexpectedly floated in mid-air.

Magic, a mage!

The long sword in his hand was pointed at the ground in front of him. He forcefully slashed the sword.

"Boom!!!"

A violent wind roared, and the silver-white great sword erupted with intense white light. An invisible blade cut through the soil surface.

The earth crumbled, soil flew, and sand dust filled the air.

All this continued until a chasm, two meters wide and dozens of meters long, appeared in front of the forest.

Standing on the Noxian side.

He raised the silver-white great sword high and then slid it down, pointing it at Kolck's face.

"Linwin of Zaun, halt your steps."

Linwin raised the Stormwind great sword, coldly saying:

"This path is currently unavailable!"

Kapitel 162: -159- Come

Linwin dispelled his flying magic, landing on the ground and observing the terrified Noxians on the opposite side. He also watched as Sion roared and charged at him again.

Linwin easily recognized the monster before him the moment it rushed into the woods—it was Sion.

With a massive body standing at four meters tall, pale skin, covered in various wounds, and a giant blood-red cavity on his naked torso, who else on the entire Runeterra could match this description other than Sion?

As Linwin had anticipated, Sion's strength was formidable.

While his speed might be around 300, making him appear slow and bulky, in reality, his speed was astonishing.

However, compared to Linwin, there was still a significant gap in speed. Sion's power, on the other hand, started at around 700, making him a formidable opponent.

Sion could effortlessly lift a building with his bare hands.

Linwin, however, had the B.F Sword, a legendary weapon he obtained through a draw after activating Fiora and Lux's cards. The B.F Sword was undoubtedly Linwin's most powerful weapon, possessing qualities that befitted its legendary status.

B.F Sword (Legendary Weapon)

- Quality: ★★★★

- Effects:

 1. Provides +50 Strength and +30 Agility.

 2. Indomitable: The B.F Sword is difficult to destroy.

With a +50 Strength and +30 Agility bonus, the B.F Sword truly deserved its legendary status—a powerful weapon with high resilience and sharpness, enhancing the user's strength and agility significantly.

Linwin swung the B.F Sword at Sion, simultaneously raising his left hand.

"Tempest!"

A storm of force erupted from Linwin's hand, hitting Sion's massive body. Although it sent him flying dozens of meters away and created a large hole in his chest, the wound quickly healed, and Sion charged at Linwin again.

After the second eruption of blood energy, Linwin noticed that Sion's strength and speed had weakened slightly upon their next encounter.

"Quick, mages, help Sion!"

Kolck reacted swiftly, and a group of Noxian soldiers, including an eight-person mage team, drew their crossbows and prepared their rune weapons.

"Use magic!"

In the mage team, two directed their spells at Linwin, while the remaining five unleashed blood magic spells on Sion.

Sion, shrouded in a thick blood mist, roared and rushed towards Linwin again after standing up. Linwin, observing Sion closely, noticed that the wounds on Sion's waist and abdomen were once again spewing crimson blood mist.

Linwin lifted his hand, not at Sion but at himself.

"Eye of the Storm!"

Despite the significant mana consumption, a large emerald-green wind shield appeared around Linwin.

"Boom!"

Sion's massive axe struck the wind shield, embedding into it for a moment but failing to harm Linwin. Linwin ignored Sion's attacks, quickly flying towards the Noxian mage group in the distance.

Ignoring the blood arrows, Linwin was ensnared by a blood-colored chain that tethered his wrist.

A curse?

In an instant, Linwin's speed slowed down slightly, and a hint of astonishment flashed in his pupils.

Is this a slowing curse? It can't be dodged?

Linwin's brief moment of confusion prompted a reaction from Kolck.

"Quick, raise your shields!"

"Third squad, retreat! Discard the crossbows, they're useless against him!"

Different from the Wilton Linwin encountered in the first attack, Kolck was a more superior commander!

Upon seeing the opponent blocking Sion's giant axe with magic, Kolck quickly made a decision: crossbows were ineffective against him!

This was a mage who could manipulate the wind!

"All troops, disperse! Rune shields up! Follow me and stop him with rune shields!"

Kolck raised his peculiar rune weapon, resembling a small shield with a long iron chain hanging from the lion's mouth on the shield. At the end of the chain, there was a small iron hook made of Demacian silver.

"Relentless Force!"

Linwin took a deep breath, clenched his fist, and unleashed a powerful punch toward a group of soldiers who had formed a defensive formation.

Dust was sent flying, and the soldiers with giant shields in front were knocked away. However, to Linwin's surprise, his punch had failed to kill them.

A massive green light erupted from the giant shields, breaking the shields of the soldiers in the front, causing blood to spray, and limbs to fly, but those behind, holding up shields, only turned pale.

"Switch, switch!"

"First squad of shield-bearers, step back! Second squad, move forward!"

"Release all the stored energy! Don't hold back just because he's alone; This is war!"

"We're facing a powerful monster!"

Kolck roared in anger.

Monster, monster!

Damn monster! That's a rune weapon! A single punch shattered two rune weapons and depleted the energy of seven other rune shields.

How many rune weapons could Noxus produce in a year? Less than a hundred!

Damn it! Why does Piltover have such a strong person? If it weren't for Lord Sion holding him back, he and his soldiers might have been crushed instantly!

This is a monster!

"All troops, no disobedience allowed! Abandon fear, forget life and death!"

Kolck charged at the forefront, standing in front of a group of mages with his short shield.

Muscles bulged under the short armor, and he raised his head with a loud roar, "For Noxus!"

"Kill! Kill him!"

"For Noxus!"

"O wind, carry me!"

Seeing this, Linwin quickly raised his left hand, swiftly drew a rune, and under this rune, more than half of Linwin's magical power was drained. A super-sized wind magic materialized.

Whirlwinds swept from all directions, forming two giant wind dragons beside Linwin. Riding the stormy dragons, Linwin charged into the Noxian formation.

"Disperse!"

Kolck roared, raising his short shield at the forefront. The short shield emitted a green light, and behind the squad of shield-bearers, the axemen protected the blood mages who began chanting a new spell.

"Boom!"

Shield-bearers were sent flying, Linwin swung his sword downward, first killing three mages chanting spells, then turning around for another strike toward Kolck, who was attacking him.

The silver hook shot out. This silver hook, made from Demacian special silver, surprisingly pierced through Linwin's protective wind shield, hooking onto Linwin's thigh.

"Ha!"

Linwin stumbled, roaring. But Kolck also made a final attack before dying.

He used his head to headbutt Linwin but failed to harm him in the end.

Behind him, the Undead Juggernaut had arrived on the battlefield.

Ignoring friend or foe, Sion's massive axe swept through, beheading several Noxian soldiers. Then, heavily sweeping it onto Linwin's blade.

"Ugh!"

Thrown away by Sion's ferocious strength, Linwin's breath was disrupted.

He had underestimated them.

Underestimated the elite forces of Noxus.

Noxian soldiers were the most powerful soldiers in the world!

Even when facing the dauntless vanguards with superhuman strength, Noxian soldiers could still win against them!

How did Linwin forget this?

There was one time when Five Noxian soldiers managed to hold back Garen.

And now, he faced Sion, eight mages who could use blood magic, a fierce general, and hundreds of soldiers!

These brave and skilled soldiers, dedicated to the empire since birth, they are the cornerstone of Noxus!

And just like now, even though they knew Sion might mistakenly kill them too, they still charged forward, trying to block Linwin's retreat.

"For Noxus!"

"General Kolck has sacrificed himself, avenge the general!"

"The main force is coming soon, for Noxus!"

"Even if you're a god! Today, you will die with us!"

Several shield-bearers raised their shields behind Linwin and forcefully thrust them toward his back.

"Swoosh!"

Soaring into the air, Linwin flew.

"Shackles of Blood!"

Two Noxian mages spat out blood, using two blood shackles to bind Linwin's feet.

"Quick! Pull him down!"

Soldiers rushed forward, grabbing the iron chains and gritting their teeth to pull him down.

Noxus conquered far and wide.

What did they rely on?

Was it Darkwill's command?

Was it the wealth of the empire?

Darkwill was incompetent!

Noxus is impoverished.

Noxus reached where they stood today because every soldier, from top to bottom, wholeheartedly served the empire!

"For Noxus!"

"Kill!"

————————

"Seraphine!"

"Seraphine!"

"Seraphine!"

Cheers echoed through the plaza without end.

The concert had reached its climax.

Beautiful and magical lights, rhythmic music, and Seraphine's enchanting voice.

At this moment, the Twin Cities momentarily set aside their mutual prejudices and immersed themselves in this celebration.

Lively, excited.

Seraphine was drenched in sweat, but even so, she didn't feel tired.

Looking at the audience cheering for her, watching Piltover and Zaun gradually coming together, Seraphine smiled broadly.

This was what she wanted!

"Wow!"

"Miss Powder is amazing!"

The stage returned to its original position, and on the stage, Zeri quickly covered her mouth and disappeared behind the stage.

She ran to the back to rest and replenish mana. Serafina followed suit to take a sip of water and rest.

Currently, in the front, it was the duo performance of Powder and Kai'Sa.

Powder swung her drumsticks, shaking her head and hitting the drums with a resounding beat. This segment of the show earned her countless applause.

Now, there was no distinction between Piltover and Zaun.

In front of Seraphine's magic, under the earnest and hardworking performance of these girls.

In tonight's celebration.

Forget about time, forget about hatred.

Now, happiness is the most important!

This is Seraphine'scharm!

"Demacia!"

A slightly tired voice sounded, and the people in the audience had already become accustomed to it.

They already knew that those magical lights, those holy pillars of light, were created by a powerful mage.

The time had come to 7:30.

But no one wanted it to end.

Piltover, Zaun, now, people were reveling in joy and laughter, extraordinarily lively!

——————Piltover Mountains——————

"Physical Enlightenment!"

Accompanied by a loud roar.

Intense golden light suddenly appeared—

Above the Piltover Mountains, if one had good eyes, it was possible to see a strange phenomenon.

On the highest mountains.

A figure. Like a human?

A figure, as tall as a small mountain?

No, two figures as tall as small mountains.

They were colliding!

"Come!!!"
