Sarah looked at the dirtied spoon in her hands. Then her gaze shifted to the transparent glass, and the small cactus placed on a square towel. "Madam, why are you planting in the middle of the night?"
She knelt beside Sonia. "Let me plant the cactus instead madam. Please go back inside it's cold," she said as her eyes fell on her loose shirt and shorts.
Sonia hurriedly grabbed the towel in front of Sarah. "No, it's fine, I'll do it. Fill the cup with soil instead."
"Yes, madam. Was the plant given to you by someone special?"
"Yes, I accidentally dropped the pot earlier."
"So that's what happened. Here, madam, it's full."
"Thank you." Sonia took the cup from her. With the dim light, the extreme paleness of her hand was still noticeable when she brushed over Sarah's supple white skin.
