Kapitel 20: Chapter 19

"I'm fine now. I no longer feel any pain. I'm not angry at all, and I don't feel the least bit scared. I was just surprised…"

"Because I nearly died," Sonia said with emphasis while eyeing the spirit. 

Her habit of always ensuring she gets something beneficial from a situation unconsciously spiraled her mind to conjure a way, so she could benefit from the situation.

"Since no one is aware that will happen, I won't blame anyone."

Sonia shifted her body and stopped Zach from patting her before removing his hand from her shoulder. 

She wanted to thank them first for their immediate response earlier. However, her ingrained habit dominated. When she noticed that Zach wanted to continue comforting her, a flash of delight crossed her eyes. Now, she wanted to make him and the spirit feel guilty about what happened, so they would be more inclined to grant her what she wanted later on.
