Kapitel 18: Chapter 17

As Luke drove past the gates he thought that if his perspective about Zach was wrong and he turns out to be a scum, Sonia will surely be able to deal with him. However, if it's hard for her, he will do it on her behalf. But at the back of his mind, he has a knowing that time would not come, and for some reason, he felt at ease seeing Zach with her. 

Baffled, Luke slowed down, allowing him to notice the fully bloomed magnolia trees lined beside the road.

"Seemed blind…"

"Sickly pale too…" he mumbled thinking it would be hard for Zach to please some of their family members. Especially, since everyone who is aware of Sonia's condition would want her to be with the best man there is.

"Miss Sonia, how did your conversation with your brother go?" Zach said while drying his hair with a towel.

"Brother left immediately so we weren't able to talk. Go and sit down first, I'll dry your hair."
