The building fell quiet once again.

After Fang Chuyi counter questioned, Medusa seemed somewhat taken aback. However, she persisted, "Right, I want to ask you, these past years, have you...have you ever truly loved me?"

Medusa looked somewhat anxious.

Matsuno Yoshika was a woman, she understood the implication of that anxiety.

When a woman was full of confidence, anxiety would never surface. Only when she felt she was about to lose something would she become so concerned.

But why didn't they cherish what they had when they had it? Matsuno Yoshika silently lamented.

"I don't know how you interpret love..."

Fang Chuyi said slowly: "But for me, when I saved you, it was not because I wanted you to marry me, but simply because I loved you."

Medusa looked surprised, she seemed momentarily confused.

Fang Chuyi continued: "I love you, but that does not mean that I want to marry you. As long as you have a good place to be, I will bless you."
