"I'm not repairing it," Amalia said, "I've changed my mind. I plan to use this opportunity to refine a new, suitable blade. The devil blades are mostly reforged. Although the city lord of the Sunshadow city is dead, the blade once bore his mark and had been nurtured by him for years. It's not well-suited for me; it's only usable as a temporary solution."

"Do you need me to find more materials for you?" Kenny Lin asked, knowing that the refining materials Amalia had were not the best.

Amalia thought for a moment before declining, "No, it's fine. We're not familiar with the Double Cavern Secret Realm, so how would you know where to find the refining materials I need? And there might not be what I'm looking for here anyway."

Seeing that he couldn't be of help, Kenny Lin said nothing more but looked thoughtful, as if he was plotting something.

After a while, he said, "Then I'll go keep watch outside."
