Kapitel 47: Saving a baby

The two men were shocked to see such a scene and Mina panicked thinking that the old man had taken the baby, but the moment she saw her face she soon realized that it wasn't him and couldn't help but become more worried.
"Where is she!" The old man disappeared and reappeared in front of her and grabbed her neck tightly.
"I... I don't know..." Mina replied breathlessly.
The old man's eyes burned with extreme anger, he was about to kill her seeing that she knew nothing, but a soft and calm voice echoed suddenly along with a baby's laughter.
"You are such a beautiful and cute girl ~ I will spoil you so much."
The old man released Mina and looked in the direction of the voice with the others and was surprised to see a man with long silver hair, beautiful golden eyes and a mask covering the face holding the baby in his arms while stroking its cheek making the baby laugh happily.
"What the hell!" They were shocked to see that the man didn't even put his eyes on them.
"Hey! Who are you!" The old man became angry and pointed at Alexander before shouting loudly.
Fortunately there was a barrier around the baby or she would start crying in fear, Alexander let out a small sigh of relief and looked at the old man and the two men very coldly making their souls tremble.
"Mortals' greed for power has no limits, I should exterminate your Dragon Empire, but it is not for me to judge the actions of mere mortals…"
His cold words made everyone stiff, the old man clenched his fists angrily and asked coldly: Do you know whose baby this is?."
Alexander nodded and replied indifferently: I know, she is the daughter of an acquaintance of mine.."

The old man was about to scream loudly again, but Alexander snorted and killed him and the two men by blasting them into blood mist using the Blood Laws. Mina looked at the blood staining her hands, arms and body and was stunned.
She looked at Alexander and was scared to see his golden eyes evaluating her, her soul began to tremble, her heart beat faster, Mina was very scared and lowered her head, avoiding his eyes.
*Sigh*
"Thank you for taking care of her, what are you going to do?" He sighed and thanked her before asking.
Mina looked at him in surprise and thought a little and shook her head: I don't know..."
She knew that if she returned she would probably die, the old man was a Knight of Rank 8, a very important figure in the Black Dragon Empire, his death would cause a lot of repercussions.
