Kapitel 26: Chapter 26: Remorse

PRINCE KLOUD’S POV

I woke up to an empty bed. I expected it after being an a*s to Prince Ulysses. 

I stood outside the bathroom door and listened to his muffled sobs. My pride would not let me comfort him as I walked out of the bedroom and went for a run. 

When I returned to the room, Prince Ulysses was still in bed. I pretended not to care, got in bed, and closed my eyes. I felt him toss and turn for hours until he finally gave up. I listened to him get out of bed and walked out of the room. 

He had slept on the couch!

Early hours of the morning, I listened to him shower, dress, and leave. My ego would not let me follow him and apologize for my brutal behavior and words. My feet hit the floor as I got out of bed and walked to the bathroom. The reflection in the mirror made my steps falter as I stared at it, barely recognizing myself. I was a brutal monster. My wolf stared right back at me, angry and disappointed. 

‘You made our mate sad,’ he seethed.
