"Maaaaster, do you hear me?" Violet poked the old man's face but there was no response coming from him. His wrinkled skin was still pleasantly soft, making her question what skincare routine he was using.

"This is weird… Where did it go wrong?" She wondered.

After the Sage injected her vaccine substance into his arm, he felt no different for a few hours, then came down with a fever. It wasn't anything serious, but it still made people worried.

In her case, nobody knows how her body reacted to the shot. By the time they found her, she had collapsed due to hunger and exhaustion, so the elder was the first test subject she could observe.

"Don't tell me… I made some mistake, and he is dying now?" Violet scratched her head in confusion. "Maaaster, do you have any wish about how your funeral should look like? Just in case, of course…"
