Kapitel 606: Crushing Weight

The whale continued to back away as Dem Zarn wore a sinister smile. "Pathetic half-human, how's the power of my spear?" he taunted, without attacking or taking advantage. Instead, he just stared coldly and kept pressing forward.

Contrary to his expectations, the whale only smiled sarcastically. "I don't know where this confidence is coming from, but your unchanging pose bores me. So get ready. I'm not going to let you keep posturing."

Suddenly, one of the whale's eyes turned completely black, while the other pulsed in celestial blue. Dem Zarn's eyes widened as he felt a deadly danger.

Instinctively, he dodged to the side without even looking. A spear covered in a purple aura shot out from the void. He evaded it, still with wide eyes. Was that an Ancestral weapon? How was it acting on its own? How could its power be so great without someone wielding it?

He thought, alarmed, as the world fell into deadly silence. He turned to the whale.
