In the late afternoon, the whale and Ruri flew through the forest, observing the skies completely covered by dark clouds. With every meter toward the depths of the forest, both felt a growing sense of ominous foreboding. It was an irrational premonition, but they both felt it.

Although they didn't pose a direct threat, they needed to remain vigilant. Adding to the uncertainty of what awaited them, they forced themselves to stay calm and alert.
