She even flipped a page while saying that.

"Your book is upside down."

Leng Wuyan felt a bit embarrassed and stubbornly stated, "I prefer reading it this way. What's wrong with that?"

The two walked through the hall and arrived at the dining hall.

"I had some free time and decided to cook, but I accidentally made too much. To avoid wasting it, I called you here to help clean up."
Li Ran looked at the various dishes on the table, each dish looking and smelling delightful, and untouched.
This wasn't making too much by accident. It was a meticulously prepared feast!
"Wait a moment, did you say something just now?"
Li Ran was astonished, "You cooked all these dishes yourself, Master?"
In his memories, Leng Wuyan was someone who couldn't even tell apart different seasonings, let alone cook.
"Of course." She crossed her arms and proudly nodded.
Li Ran sat down, picked up a pair of silver chopsticks, and grabbed a piece of Snow Eagle meat to taste.
"Mm!"
His eyes instantly lit up.
Leng Wuyan eagerly asked, "How is it?"
Li Ran gave her a thumbs-up and mumbled, "It's too delicious! Master, your cooking skills are amazing!"
This wasn't just flattery; the dishes really were fantastic. While not on the level of a top-tier chef, they were definitely of a high standard.
"I'm glad you like it."
Leng Wuyan sighed in relief, "It's not in vain that I woke up early to learn how to cook."
With her talent and comprehension, she could replicate any dish perfectly after just one glance. She even managed to create many novel dishes through her creativity.
However, even with her abilities, preparing this feast still took her four or five hours.
Li Ran looked at her fair and delicate face, feeling a slight touch in his heart.
"Master, you're really good to me."
Leng Wuyan blushed and turned her head, saying, "I was just using you as practice. It's not like I made all this specifically for you. Why are you being so cheesy..."
