Revival
Austin entered Lya's room to find her body lying down on the bed, she wasn't naked and was wearing a thin nightgown that showed more of her body.
But that didn't matter to Austin as a look of sadness adorned his face while looking at her. Just remembering the time when he felt the loss of connection between him and her made his heart ache and feel like something was being torn apart inside him. He felt his heart being pierced by hundreds if not thousands of needles making him on the verge of collapsing if not for remembering his other wives or else he would have died as well by Edwen's sword.
Austin hated this feeling, the feeling of losing someone he loved, he didn't want to experience it again and already regretted not putting the spell of teleportation on their bodies before the battle started. This was a regret and mistake that he would remember for eternity, this regret will remind him of how he couldn't protect Lya and let her die.
He believed that he was the reason for her death although it wasn't because she lost her focus during the battle which was a very big mistake someone could make during such a battle where life was a mere line that could be cut anytime and anywhere.
Sitting beside her on the bed, he caressed her beautiful face while swearing that he wouldn't let something like that happen again in his entire life.
Then without much thought, he began the reviving ritual.
He stood up in front of the bed, then his crystal blue eyes that had its pupils now in the shape of X glowed brightly before he extended both of his hands as if hugging the world.
A big blue magic circle appeared under Lya's motionless body that had a very complicated and unique design and runes very different from his usual magic circle.
The magic circle consisted of three circles overlapping with each other and rotating in opposite directions.
Then Austin muttered the word.
[Revival]
After the word was spoken, the magic circle glowed brightly and rotated in a high speed and before long the room was engulfed in a bright blue light.
Austin didn't close his eyes and watched the process being done with his eyes.
The soul of Lya that was beside her body looked at Austin with loving and warm gaze before it went inside the body to complete the process of revival.
After 10 minutes, the bright light diminished and disappeared slowly and the room went back to its original state before being engulfed in the bright light.
Austin sighed and was sweating because the spell put a very high mental pressure on him as he had to concentrate fully on the process so nothing bad or wrong could happen.
The revival spell is a very high spell that requires a huge amount of mana and very high concentration from the caster so you would find that in many different manga, animes or novels that this kind of spells is very rare and not everyone could have it or learn it.
Only those who meet the requirements could.
Austin went immediately on the bed to check up on Lya and see if she was okay.
And clearly slowly, Lya's eyes opened revealing her beautiful ocean blue eyes to him. Her eyes looked at him and reflected only him and his figure as if she could only see Austin and no one else.
"How are y—"
And before he could continue, she immediately got up and jumped in Austin's embrace hugging him so tightly that he felt his shirt was about to be torn apart from her strong grip.
Austin could see and feel her trembling body so he hugged her back wrapping his arms around her body like a protector or a more specifically a father who finally met his long lost daughter.
His embrace was warm and cozy making Lya snuggle more in it and feeling those strong arms wrapped around her body made her feel even warmer.
She thought that she was in a dream but clearly this feeling is too real to be a dream.
"I've missed you so so so much darling *Sob*" She was sobbing as finally could feel her husband with both of her hands and body.
This warmness she couldn't forget and wouldn't ever forget.
"I'm so sorry *Sob* I'm so sorry for what I have done *Sob*"
"Shhhh it's all already over, you don't need to be sorry. The most important thing is that you are here with me, in my embrace, my dear. I don't want you to cry or be sad, I want you to be happy." Austin muttered to her with his soft soothing voice.
"B-But.....but...."
"No buts my dear, just relax." He muttered again but this time he was caressing her long silky red scarlet hair making the girl feel warm and relax.
"Um." She nodded in his embrace and the two stayed like that.
After some time, Austin was still on the bed resting his back on the bed board while Lya was on top of him resting her head on his chest with her arms wrapped around his body.
"You know dear,"
"Hmm?" Austin replied while caressing her hair.
"When you entered this room and looked over my dead body, I was still in my soul state but could still see you and saw how pained and sad you was for me. This made me go crazy as I didn't see you this sad and pained before, I didn't want that, I didn't wish for that, I didn't want you to be sad and didn't want to see you in this pain. I hate it from the bottom of my heart." Lya said with slightly shaky voice filled with concern and sadness.
"Me too, I don't want to see you or anyone of your sisters in a state like that again, I would rather destroy the world than seeing you pained or in such state. This is the regret I will carry for eternity to make me remember how I couldn't protect you my dear, all of you are my precious ones and that won't change at all."
Hearing her husband's words, Lya felt warm and happy. She became even happier as she could be with her husband again and swore to be stronger and stronger so she wouldn't make her precious darling sad or pained again. This became her worst nightmare and she didn't wish to experience it again.
"I love you darling~ I love you so much that I can't imagine how much I love you~" Lya said with a voice filled with so much deep love as she snuggled more in his embrace enjoying his caresses.
"Me too my dear, I love you so much that I can't let you go away from me even if it was for a second, no matter what you do, there is no escape from me~"
"Dear~"
"Lya~"
Both said while looking at each other's eyes before they kissed in a very loving and passionate manner.
