Kapitel 230: Conversation with the General(Part-1)

West of Nowem City, in a residential district where many influential people reside, stands a huge mansion. This mansion, built from expensive materials, exudes grandeur even on this dark night.

A wide expanse of grass and gardens surrounds it, with men in guard uniforms constantly patrolling the area. They are intensely vigilant, aware that any mishap could endanger the person living inside the mansion.

A man stands on the mansion's balcony, watching over them with a glass of wine in his hand. After taking a sip, he looks up at the moon. He has almost no hair on his head, his eyes are sunken, and wrinkles mar his face. He is wearing simple striped pajamas.

Suddenly, his phone rings. After glancing at the caller ID, he answers it. They talk for a while before General Weig frowns.

"That guy couldn't wait, huh?" the general mutters.

He downs his wine in one gulp before turning around and heading inside his bedroom.
