Time...
Time has always been a subjective concept, sometimes feeling so short and at other times so long. It's said that when you're about to die, your perception of time alters so much that a second can last for ten.
Instinct...
Often, this term is used to explain why people are capable of sensing things they shouldn't, like the next move of an enemy or perhaps an event about to happen.
It often activates in intense or dangerous situations...
Allen was currently in a state of danger...
The Chat felt it...
The dolls felt it...
Bocchi felt it. And she appeared next to Allen, frightened. Allen had always seemed completely invincible; although he got hurt and sustained wounds, he always gave the impression that no matter what happened, he wouldn't lose.
Bocchi had taken refuge in that fact, despite the terrifying things happening around her, she could endure them without falling into a nervous breakdown, and this was only because she always felt safe with Allen.
At this moment, in front of Hitori Gotou (Bocchi), was a young man with a pale, darkened face struggling to stand, his eyes unfocused and sweat dripping from his skin.
There was no protective aura...
There was no kind, smiling face...
There was no reassuring presence...
He was suffering...
"Bocchi-tan..."
Nokotan appeared beside Bocchi, who had a blank look. She did not have a foolish or lost expression but a serious face.
"Bocchi, we have to help Allen!"
"..."
Help him? How?
Bocchi couldn't answer. To her, Allen's existence had reached the level of a god, not through worship but as an existence. If Allen was incapable of doing something, could Bocchi help him?
"Impossible..."
Bocchi gave up because she did not have a strong will or a strong heart; she was an extremely pessimistic girl with little initiative.
Nokotan grabbed Bocchi's clothes, surprising her. "But we have to do it!"
Bocchi opened her eyes wide in surprise. Nokotan was scared; this incomprehensible being who often did crazy things was also scared at this moment.
Certainly, Nokotan is strange, but people often forget that she is also a high school girl, a girl who should be living a fun life, not involved in murders, monsters, and apocalypses. Being scared is not wrong, and yet she chose to help.
Bocchi lowered her head, blaming and cursing her own weakness. She slapped her cheeks and nodded.
"H...how will we do it?"
Nokotan smiled and calmed down when she saw Bocchi show courage.
"Allen-tan must be having trouble bearing that power... I know!"
Nokotan tore off her horns and stuck them onto Allen's body; they immediately began to absorb Allen's power, albeit just a little.
"Not a bad idea..." Artoria spoke calmly but without turning around; she had already noticed their presence but couldn't be distracted given what else Stan Edgar might have planned. "We get our energy from Allen; consequently, you girls should be able to absorb Allen's excess power."
Nokotan agreed, "But why don't you do it?"
"It's not the same; the vitality is the energy that comes directly from a living being... but this energy is different; I fear I am not Allen; my body isn't designed to handle incompatible energy; the story would be different if that power were of divine origin..."
"But then neither can we... I'm just an ordinary girl..." Bocchi became depressed.
"That's not true; at least the Hitori who is here is quite peculiar, turning into Godzilla, a slug, exploding, shrinking; even your panic attacks seem to alter your body impossibly. I'm not an expert in this but you should be able to accept that power..."
Bocchi began to tremble, shaking her head while turning transparent as if she were about to disappear.
"Bocchi-chan..."
Nokotan grabbed Bocchi's shoulder worriedly; behind Nokotan was Allen, still trying to control his power. She realized that her own pessimism had almost made her lose sight of what was important.
Bocchi returned to her normal form and appeared on the battlefield.
Stan Edgar, who had been paying attention, witnessed the presence of another unknown girl who appeared out of nowhere; this time he had no records of having seen her, unlike 2B, Rebecca, and Artoria.
"Quick, Malchemical..."
Despite his words, Stan Edgar knew that Malchemical couldn't rush; it had to act as naturally as common gas at the moment it showed any hint of its own will, the plan would end.
Malchemical was slowly flowing around Allen, gradually encasing him, trying to enter Allen's body. Whether Allen breathed it in or it entered through the pores in his skin, Malchemical's goal was to enter Allen's bloodstream and once inside, it would invade Allen's entire body and tear it apart from within.
With all types of poisonings, with all kinds of acids and corrosives, or different types of radiation, Malchemical would try every possible way to kill a person.
Whether it succeeded or not, it would be one of the most painful and horrible experiences a person could endure.
Bocchi approached Allen while scared, she wasn't suffering but was still frightened by the situation.
Allen sensed her presence and focused his gaze, "Bocchi?... heh, don't w...worry, I have a plan..."
Bocchi's eyes filled with tears; she threw herself at Allen and kissed him.
"...!"
She knew there was nothing like a magical plan that would resolve everything, yet it was something Allen would never say, especially not in her presence.
Bocchi parted her lips from Allen and held his cheeks. "It's always... like this... you never let me see anything bad... or cruel... or horrible... I'm not a child... I know there are bad things in the world..."
"..."
"I'm not strong... or reliable... but at least I don't want to be a burden!"
A pink aura enveloped Bocchi; this aura perfectly blended with Allen's and began to absorb Allen's energy.
"Bocchi..."
It was unexpected for everyone, including Allen himself. The powers used by characters like Bocchi and Nokotan, if they can be called that, are comedic resources designed to amuse or entertain without worrying about physics or logic; they are just that, a comedic resource.
Allen smiled and hugged Bocchi; being saved by comedy could be one of the most ridiculous ways to overcome a dangerous situation. But strangely it felt comforting and very warm.
"Thank you, Hitori..."
Bocchi froze upon hearing Allen's sincere words of thanks. She nodded, holding back her tears.
Allen was able to control his power a bit more and felt more secure about getting through this crisis.
...
2B was fighting with Soldier Boy, Rebecca with Sam if it could be called a fight, and Butcher was fighting with Homelander.
'What is this feeling...'
[Host?]
'Don't you think everything is going too well?'
[Yes, but mostly it was because of Bocchi; she is a wildcard that neither Stan Edgar nor you could have foreseen...]
'I know but even if Stan Edgar couldn't imagine Bocchi appearing, could he anticipate that another unknown girl might appear and help me control my power... and someone as ridiculously meticulous would bet that my own power would kill me?'
[Host implies there's something more?]
'I don't know, but I can't worry about that now; I must control Sentry's power; I fear I won't be able to pay attention to what's happening outside, just hope that the girls can handle it...'
Bocchi and, to a lesser extent, Nokotan's horns helped Allen control the huge surge of energy. However, it was like his two firefighters helping to control an out-of-control hose. If they didn't cut off the source sooner or later, they would be overcome.
[Don't worry, host, I will also keep an eye on what happens...]
'Yes...'
A trace of worry lingered in Allen, but he decided to trust in his girls. Thus, he plunged into the depths of his mind and soul, falling into a kind of meditation or trance.
...
Allen opened his eyes in the middle of a ruined city, the buildings destroyed with no apparent signs of life filling his vision.
The sky was lit, but there was no sun; there were clouds, but they didn't move; there was air, but it seemed stagnant.
"System?"
There was no response...
No sound...
No one but Allen...
He could feel that he was somewhere inside his mind or perhaps his soul.
"This is a cliché..."
"I think the same..."
Allen instinctively stepped back, looking at the origin of the voice, he noticed that the sky was now night, without stars or a moon, which made it strange that he could still see.
Sitting atop a broken wall was a person, in this place where absolutely no one else was present, there was someone besides Allen.
"Don't tell me it's that kind of situation?"
Allen asked the guy in front of him, who had features, stature, and complexion similar but with black hair and eyes.
Allen encountered a version of himself with black hair, so it's easy to assume that it's that kind of overused scene where one has to fight oneself.
"I don't know. It's not like I have instructions, but if I had to guess, it's simple: fight, win, or die."
It seemed simple; at the moment, Allen's power was out of control, so Allen assumed that his other self was a representation of that power, and the way to dominate it was to defeat it.
He smiled...
Despite having the same face as Allen, it was not a smile that Allen would ever make...
No...
It was a smile of cruelty and death at a level Allen could never achieve because no matter the world or even driven by anger, Allen remained a man of good heart...
However... that thing was not like him... Allen didn't know...
Sentry had another problem apart from his mental instability, one that almost cost him his life... from his unstable power and mind, another thing was born, and that thing took the name of Void.
"Hey, what should I call you?" Allen started stretching, preparing for the fight. "I'm Allen, and that's not up for debate..."
"Ah... right, but you are also Sentry..."
"What?"
"Sentry was the original name of the project that Robert Reynolds, the zombie you met, stole. So, anyone who uses the serum could call themselves Sentry."
Allen narrowed his eyes, hearing something he wasn't aware of, "Then technically you are also Sentry..."
"No, I am Void..."
"Void... huh?"
"I'm Allen, you are Allen, you are Sentry, and I am Void but compared to the original Void... I think I'm stronger..."
Allen was confused by what his other version was saying. But no matter, Allen's eyes turned blue; this was his soul or mind. Here, he could freely use his powers.
"It doesn't matter, but I'm in a hurry, let's end this..."
Void's eyes turned red, and a smile spread across his face, "Don't be impatient..."
...
Allen felt it with his skin, his heart, his soul. Just as the words finished, Void attempted to kill him.
The next second, without ritual, chant, or hand movements, a dangerously sharp cut appeared in front of Allen with the full intention of splitting him in half.
There was no bloodlust as if the act of killing was the most natural thing in the world. Allen used the fastest speed he could muster in that brief moment to dodge the world-splitting slash.
Allen's eyes narrowed, looking at the man who called himself Void; he felt it, Void had something that should not exist in Allen Walker, an intense evil and cruelty.
Allen responded instantly; it was almost unreal how he managed to clash two infinities to create purple, in less than a millisecond.
The sphere moved quickly towards Void. In response, the smiling face with red eyes raised his hand and created a purple sphere with two rings surrounding it, the appearance that usually represents hakai.
Allen clicked his tongue as both spheres clashed, and as expected, his purple was annihilated instantly.
Allen used divine ki to catch the hakai with his open palm and destroy it. Then he moved faster than light, reaching a smiling Void who casually received his punch. Allen continued with a kick that impacted Void's chest.
No... it didn't...
Allen saw the neutral infinity surrounding Void preventing his attack; Allen used Hakai to destroy the infinity and strike Void, who did not seem very affected by a kick wrapped in divine ki. Void teleported and used voodoo magic to create gigantic monsters several miles high. Despite their size, they were fast.
Allen didn't complicate things; he compressed his ki with his energy compression ability and fired several yellow flashes from his hands that exploded, destroying the monsters.
Void appeared behind Allen with a scornful smile, "Hehe, Domain Extension Infinite Void."
Allen wasted no time doing the same, "Tsk, Domain Extension Infinite Void."
Both expanded the domain of the Infinite Void. Something impossible to see otherwise, sharing the same nature, both domains neutralized each other.
Allen was stunned for a moment due to the strange effect of his power.
Void narrowed his eyes; this time, he took the initiative without wasting the opportunity.
Using teleportation, Void attacked Allen and activated Domain Amplification to neutralize Allen's infinity.
Allen took a full-powered blow from a god of destruction and flew, destroying the already ruined city even more. The effect of that blow in the real world would have been devastating.
"Urgh... so this is what my punches feel like..." Allen smiled ironically as he rose from the ground. It's complicated facing yourself; trump cards are useless, and tricks, too. The other side can use everything you can... Wait...
Allen noticed something strange about Void. A smile spread across Allen's face, which made Void frown for the first time.
"Clown Crown!"
"Something like that is nothing but trash..."
Even hearing Void's words of disdain, Allen simply laughed, meanwhile, a cloak enveloped him, and a sword manifested in his hand.
"I don't know about you but you look quite diabolical to me, this sword seems eager to get rid of you"
"Shut up," Void created a fake Crown Saber using the superpower of the girl who could create knives out of nowhere.
The answer to the question was simple, win and live. This wouldn't be like Ichigo from Bleach mastering his inner hollow. Allen did not doubt that only one could survive, and at the same time, he lamented that Sentry had to endure living with such a monster inside him.
But even so, defeating Void wouldn't be easy, and Allen didn't have time to waste.
Allen attacked Void, who was no longer smiling...
Both swords clashed a thousand times in less than a second until the imitation broke.
Void threw down the useless sword and clasped his hands together, "Domain Extension.... Malevolent kitchen"
Allen's six eyes flashed and he crossed his fingers, "Domain Extension, Infinite Void!"
...
Outside, Stan Edgar observed Bocchi helping Allen, the pink-haired girl seemed like a variant but not severe enough to interrupt his plan.
It was a matter of seconds before Malchemical could kill Allen.
Feeling something was amiss, Artoria turned and looked at Allen for a moment, only seeing Bocchi giving her best, but she noticed nothing strange and returned to being on guard. She also thought it was very strange that Stan Edgar hadn't tried anything else...

A/N: For those who are wondering, yes, The Void is canon at Marvel, but this The Void is different from Sentry because he was born from Allen and not from Sentry.
