After returning home, the first thing Ren did was take out the headphones given by Miku and charge them.
"There are a lot of things on the table."
Ren sighed as he looked at the photo frame, kitten statue, statue of himself, and the headphones he had just charged on the table.
Upon reflection, many items in his house were given to him by them.
Clearly, there was nothing on his table before except his laptop.
But that wasn't a big deal.
Taking off his glasses and placing them on the table, Ren went to the dining table and started his dinner.
Shortly after he finished eating, there happened to be a video call from Chika.
Click to connect.
Chika appeared on the screen, but what was different from before was that Moeha didn't appear with her.
"Long time no see! Kamikawa-kun!" Chika greeted cheerfully.
"Hasn't it only been a day since we did a video call?"
Her strange greeting puzzled Ren.
"Hasn't it been two days? I can't remember clearly. Anyway, I just wanted to say long time no see. Do you have any questions?" Chika raised her head and said nonsensically.
"No."
Seeing him give up like this, Chika felt very proud, then changed the subject.
"By the way, let me tell you something very important."
"What important thing?" Ren was a bit worried about this.
"Meaning, my return to Japan will be earlier, and I can attend the fireworks show!" Chika said happily.
"Is this important?"
Ren didn't understand why she called this matter important.
"Hah, what do you mean by this? Isn't it important for me to return to Japan earlier?"
Chika was angry with his words and said dissatisfiedly.
"..."
To him, it wasn't important for Chika to return earlier.
And the fact that she wanted to participate in the fireworks show had nothing to do with him.
"Talk to me!" Chika shouted angrily, "Kamikawa-kun, just wait for me. When I return to Japan, I have to show you some colors!"
"Sorry."
Although Ren didn't know what his fault was, but Chika would definitely be angry if it looked like this, so he better apologize.
"Hmph! After I return, you have to take me out for ramen, if not, I will never forgive you." Chika made her request.
"Okay."
Ren agreed.
"Seeing your sincere attitude, I will forgive you with full compassion."
Seeing her lifelong enemy take the initiative to apologize to her and willing to treat her to ramen as compensation, secretly Chika felt happy.
"Okay, let's continue the progress we discussed earlier."
"Um."
······
The next day, at 8 in the morning.
Ren woke up on time, then dressed and showered.
Because today was the day he and Asumi agreed to go to her house, he didn't come to her house to cook for her, so he ate a bag of bread for breakfast.
After straightening his clothes, Ren left the house and went straight to the Kominami's house.
He had been to her house once before and knew where her house was.
Ren also bought some souvenirs on the way.
Besides, he would go to her house as a guest, so it wouldn't be good if he didn't bring anything.
This was a reasonable thing, one of the few things he knew.
Asumi's house wasn't too far from his house, Ren arrived at her front door after walking for a while.
Her house was a two-story clinic with a relatively cluttered appearance so it was relatively easy to remember.
"Isn't the door open?"
Seeing the closed door, Ren looked at the nameplate and made sure it was Kominami Clinic, so he rang the doorbell.
Ding dong... ding dong... ding dong...
After pressing three times in a row, he began to wait in front of the door.
It didn't take him long before the door opened, revealing Asumi's figure.
"Ah, Kouhai-kun, you're finally here, come in quickly."
Seeing Ren standing in front of the door, Asumi sighed with relief and quickly made space for him to enter the door.
"Excuse me. Is something wrong?"
After handing over the souvenirs he brought, Ren entered.
"These are sandals specially prepared for you." After receiving the souvenirs, Asumi pointed to a pair of new sandals placed at the entrance, and continued helplessly, "My father doesn't know the reason why you came today."
"I see."
Ren didn't quite understand, but in order to pretend to be normal, he pretended to understand.
"You haven't forgotten the arrangement I told you about."
As Ren was changing shoes, Asumi reminded him of it.
"No."
After changing sandals, Ren confidently replied.
"That's good. My father has been waiting for you since morning. I always feel something's not right."
Leading him upstairs, Asumi reminded him.
"If you really don't know how to answer my father's questions, you can do whatever you want. I will try my best to cooperate with you, as long as you don't feel embarrassed." She emphasized.
"I will."
As long as the questions asked by her father weren't strange and allowed enough time to think, Ren could definitely answer most of the questions.
"Dad, my boyfriend is here."
After shouting this in a very awkward manner, Asumi brought Ren to her father's office.
"Good morning, Kamikawa-kun, please have a seat."
Seeing Ren come in behind his daughter, Soujiro took the initiative to welcome him.
"Good morning, uncle."
After responding, Ren sat on the bench across from him.
Asumi found a place to put the souvenirs he brought, and poured a glass of water for Ren and her father.
"Kamikawa-kun, I heard Asumi say that you've been in a relationship for three months." Soujiro got straight to the point from the beginning.
"Yes."
Ren admitted that this was the setting Asumi told him.
Soujiro continued, "If I remember correctly, you're a new student at high school."
"Yes, I'm a new student at high school now."
"Then what do you think of Asumi?" Soujiro then asked, "From the perspective of a boyfriend."
