Kapitel 52: little reunion 2

In the fading twilight, I stood frozen at the doorway, staring at the figure before me. A wave of disbelief washed over me as I took in the familiar features of my long-lost sister, Elera. Ten years of believing she was dead forever evaporated in an instant, replaced by the warmth of her presence.

The room seemed to hold its breath as we locked eyes, our gazes tracing the lines of time that marked the passage of a decade. Then, as if a dam had burst, emotions flooded the space between them. Elera, tears streaming down her face, whispered my name.

"Richard."

I rushed forward, and we collided in a tight embrace that transcended time and separation.

For a moment, neither could speak. We held onto each other as if afraid the other might disappear, the years of absence melting away with each heartbeat. Elera finally broke the silence, her voice choked with emotion, "Richard, I thought I'd lost you forever."
