It was quite the hassle having to clean up the whole building and have it renovated to what it was now before his term as the CEO for Centra Bank officially began.

Matthew took a warm bath and ate his breakfast in his hidden room.

James seemed to be sorry since he diligently brought Matthew's meal and coffee after touching on a subject he did not want to talk about upon arrival.

He did not talk about Loreen anymore either.

Matthew did his best to work for the entire day and poured all his disappointment and heartbreak into getting a lot of work done today.

Especially since he entered and began work late.

However, right after work, his thoughts still drifted back to Loreen.

'How is she doing now? She must be still in the hospital resting to monitor her condition, right?'

Matthew thought of visiting her since from what James heard from Jasmin, Loreen just told them that she was sick and did not say she was in the hospital.
