Kapitel 265: Chapter 264: Priorities

Loreen reminded herself to stop being bitter and hurt about it. Yet it only gave more pain in her chest.

Perhaps, this was her sign that what she did was right.

After all, with a lady approved by Edric's parents, he would not have to cut ties with the family he loved and grew up with. 

Loreen was not ready to bear the guilt of causing something like that and it was one of the reasons she chose to push through with the divorce. 

She knew it would be painful with Edric to part with his family and she did not want him to regret such a decision someday.

Now that he was with someone his parents approve of, he would have no more reasons to fight with them.

'Did he deal with Edmund and Aunt Selma first?' Loreen could not help but wonder if he did not forget his promise to take care of the matter for her and for himself as well since he was her husband when everything happened.
