The Shinobi nations had turned into a gruesome battlefield, with only a handful of Shinobi remaining conscious. They were Naruto Uzumaki, Kakashi Hatake, Uchiha Obito, Uchiha Sasuke, and Sakura Haruno.
Facing them was an unstoppable force, possessing at least ten times the chakra of the Ten Tails of the Earth. It was none other than Otsutsuki Kaguya, the mother of all, the progenitor of all Shinobi, and the rabbit goddess, floating high above in the sky. Her Byakugan allowed her to see everything.
Kaguya observed the two children standing before her, their hands containing Hagoromo's chakra, likely attempting to seal her again.
She remembered that when she was sealed, she had split her mind in the form of Zetsu, with the intention of awakening herself from the seal. Now that she was unsealed, she turned her gaze to Zetsu, who looked at her with longing.
Zetsu, in essence, was a part of herself, the Yang to her Yin, the male to her female. As she was pure chakra, she possessed both yin and yang in abundance, transcending all other aspects.
"Zetsu, it's time for you to come back to me," Kaguya declared, raising her right hand. Zetsu willingly approached her hand and was absorbed into her being.
She could now access the thousand years of Zetsu's efforts to unseal her. Her cunning mind, which she had separated from herself during her seal, had returned to her.
A sinister smirk graced her face, indicating that her newfound power was now complemented by her strategic brilliance.
As the onlookers witnessed this transformation, they could only shudder in fear, seeing a terrifying force lurking within the beauty's body.
Kaguya was no longer just a beautiful goddess; she had become a formidable and cunning beast.
After dealing with these lesser beings in front of her, Kaguya knew that her next target was none other than Isshiki, once again.
Raising her hand, she muttered, "All chakra, come to me," and the chakra around the planet began to gather, making its way towards her, the goddess of chakra.
The children in front of her tried to get closer, but without any success, as her chakra was enough to repel them. They bore the marks to seal her again, and she had no intention of letting that happen.
Opening Yomotsu Hirasaka right behind the children, she impaled them with her All-Killing Ash Bones. They disintegrated slowly, without any resistance.
If this were before she absorbed Zetsu into her being, she might have hesitated, but now she understood the risks of letting them live.
The other three Shinobi couldn't even sense or see what happened to their two companions until they disintegrated; that's how quickly it occurred.
As they witnessed the two of them vanish, Kaguya shifted from her place to another, as the remaining pink-haired girl let out an anguished scream and ran towards her, fists clenched. Kaguya couldn't understand the girl's actions. Couldn't she see what happened to her companions?
Though she could sympathize with the girl, she wouldn't let any threats to her life live any longer. She fired a bone from her finger towards the pink-haired girl, hitting and disintegrating her into ashes.
The white-haired male could see but couldn't do anything. Obito and Kakashi watched in horror as the Mother of All Shinobi killed their remaining companions.
Before they could even blink, two bones pierced through their bodies. Kaguya's chakra concealed, and her clone had executed a swift and lethal strike, killing them instantly.
Now, Kaguya had unlimited freedom within this world. She gave the command to transform all the humans into White Zetsus, who would be buying herself some time for the inevitable confrontation with the Otsutsukis who would come to detain her.
She couldn't help but remember one person from her memories. Zetsu had always been wary of him, but Kaguya couldn't help but feel a curiosity about meeting him.
She knew that Shinshiki was not a full-fledged Otsutsuki from what she remembered, but he had the potential to become one soon.
Kaguya could also remember that she felt no soul inside his karma, that meant that whoever had given Shinshiki his Karma was now deceased.
This meant that she might not be actively hunted down by him, considering he might not be bound by clan rules or loyalties. However, she couldn't underestimate his potential as a powerful enemy in the future.
Kaguya's senses sharpened as she felt a disturbance in the space behind her. She turned around slowly, her piercing gaze fixed on the source of this spatial anomaly.
Kaguya's gaze locked onto the handsome man with golden horns, pale white skin, and a blue eye on his forehead, accompanied by two blue-hued Byakugan. She recognized him as an Otsutsuki, but there was a sense of familiarity in his chakra signature that intrigued her.
"You are as beautiful as the legends say, Otsutsuki Kaguya," he spoke calmly, introducing himself, "I am Otsutsuki Shinshiki."
"I understand. You consumed a chakra fruit and upgraded yourself. I could certainly sense the chakra signature of your previous frequency," she said, nodding in acknowledgment, her hair swaying as she did so.
Her forehead eye spun briefly, and in an instant, they found themselves in an ice-covered dimension. Kaguya gestured toward a palace.
"Let's have a peaceful discussion inside. After all the work I've done over the past thousand years, I would appreciate some relaxation," she said with a faint smile. Shinshiki nodded, also showing a small smile.
He walked to the palace with her. The place was dark inside, devoid of lights or any source of illumination. However, with a wave of her hand, sunlight poured into the palace.
With her control over the dimension, the sunlight didn't melt the snow surrounding the castle, creating a natural and gentle ambiance.
"The body you are currently inhabiting," he began as they moved to sit in chairs made from royal wood with golden-plated lining. Between them stood a table adorned with two cups of tea, which he assumed had been prepared by Zetsu.
"Yes, it's one of my descendants' bodies. Zetsu prepared it for me. Even though this body is weaker than my true form," she said with a regal air as she took the teacup and sipped the tea.
Nodding, Shinshiki began to speak, "Otsutsuki Urashiki, he gave me my karma. Though I had already devoured his soul when he gave me this, he was weak at that time."
"I see, his abilities were rather troublesome to counter. One of the many reasons that I was especially wary of him," she said as she once again took yet another sip.
"I could guess," he said with a faint smile as he took his teacup and sipped the tea. "This is good," he complimented the tea as he sipped it again.
"I have an interesting proposition, one that might interest you," he said as his face and voice took on a serious tone.
"I shall hear it then," she nodded with equal seriousness. She could tell that this man was as powerful as her or even more so, and he might be more skilled in using his abilities than her.
So, she figured she could hear what he had to say before jumping to conclusions.
"Why don't we join hands and partner up?"
