"Ah, Raiden, heed my words. Diana wields the pivotal influence in our quest for victory, her support resonating deeply among the populace. Batman, cloaked in solitude and ostracized, shoulders the weight of being an outsider, seldom embraced by society. Superman, admired yet controversial, grapples with his alien heritage and immense power. But Diana stands unique—born of Earth, a symbol of peace, universally revered. Her womanhood and steadfast virtue only enhance her sway over the public. The time is now ripe for us to capture the hearts of all." said Merlin as he and Raiden were approaching the Cafe they'd be meeting Diana in

"I'll try my best, and you support me, convincing her won't be easy, but it should be possible, oh and try to tone down that….Noble? way of speech" replied Raiden as he entered the Café, he was wearing his normal attire, consisting of his nice red leather jacket, Black T-shirt and black cargo pants, behind him, Merlin was in a fine black shirt with a scarf and pants however his white hair flowing all the way down to his back was too eye-catching to make people notice his outfit

The pair saw Diana in her own regular attire which consisted of normal clothes, and no way to hide her face except for….Glasses, the classic technique used by her and Superman

"Diana, I hope you haven't been waiting for too long, I should have arrived earlier since I'm the one that called you, It's good to see you" spoke Raiden as he sat down facing her, with Merlin sitting next to him "Raiden, it's always a pleasure to cross paths with you. Time doesn't dictate these meetings, but rather the opportunity to exchange words. How have the winds of fate been treating you lately?"

"Well, If I'm being honest, I'm focused on Raven these days, she's approaching eight months pregnant, and I have to be there a lot for her, I'm excited and afraid at the same time...Funny, it's almost like our battles with villains" replied Raiden, this made Diana Smile as she said "I hear you, Raiden. Parenthood is a journey of immense challenges and profound joy. It's natural to feel a blend of anticipation and nerves. But if anyone can navigate this path, it's you. Raven is strong, and the connection you share will forge an unbreakable duo…Or in this case, Trio. Just trust that you'll make an exceptional team, no doubt." as she finished, she turned her head to face Merlin, observing him a bit

Realizing his mistake, Raiden turned to Merlin and said "Oh, and by the way, This is Merlin, you've met him before, but never Had the chance to actually talk to him, He's my advisor and trusted Ally, he's always been on my side, and he helps me a lot" Diana Greeted Merlin saying "It's a pleasure to meet you, Merlin. Raiden has spoken highly of you. Anyone Raiden trusts is a friend of mine."

"The sentiment is mutual, Ms. Diana. I've long admired your endeavours. Now that pleasantries are exchanged, let us delve into the crux of our discussion: Raiden's claim to kingship." spoke Merlin, backed by Raiden who spoke "As I mentioned before in the meeting, Neil Queen is a man from a different Earth, and he is also Part of the Dark Army, their wish, is to quite literally bring darkness to the Multiverse, and Earth is a part of that, The last invasion by the reach has shown me that Earth is too divided, and we harbour many traitors, if we aren't united Diana, then our Earth my perish"

Hearing that, Diana took a sip of her Café and then sighed as she said "Raiden, I understand your concern for Earth's safety, especially with Neil Queen and his allies as looming threats. Unity is essential in times like these. But we must also uphold Earth's commitment to autonomy and democracy. Your idea of centralized leadership might be seen by many as straying from these core principles."

Diana's words, Made Merlin speak, as he interjected saying "Ah, Miss Diana, your insight is astute as ever. Indeed, it is essential to sow seeds of doubt among the populace, to unveil the imperfections within their structures. Only then can we present ourselves as the catalysts for change they so desperately require. Yet, our victory hinges greatly upon heroes like yourself, capable of guiding and shaping public sentiment. Our intentions are noble, aimed at uniting the fractured world. I firmly believe... Raiden stands as the paragon of kingship, deserving of this mantle above all others."

Narrowing her eyes at Merlin's words, Diana said "Doubt can be a powerful force, and manipulating it to influence public opinion can lead to Bad outcomes. People need to believe that any proposed changes truly serve their interests, not just a reshuffling of power. As for the idea of kingship, it carries deep historical significance. Earth has moved away from monarchy in favour of equality and representation. Are you proposing a figurehead role, or something more substantive?" as she finished speaking, Raiden was the one to speak this time saying "You're making it evil by saying 'Manipulate', but instead it's just to 'sway' their opinion, I'm not going to Vilify those who disagree with me Diana, Instead, I want to prove them wrong. To show them that what I want is the best for Earth, and to help them….live in peace!"

Then changing to a serious tone, He added "As for your last point, I want absolute power, What I mean by that, is every decision will be made by me, There has to be someone willing to take both the responsibility and blame for his decision and it will be me, The King! and Yes, I do understand that sounds.....Tyrannical, but I have a way to make it work" Once again, Diana was taken aback at his bold words, but as she had always liked him, she tried to hold her urge to shout and insult him for being so arrogant, as she said "Raiden, I get where you're coming from, and I respect your readiness to shoulder responsibility. But concentrating all power in one person? It's a risky road, even with good intentions. History has taught us the dangers of unchecked authority. How can we be certain you won't succumb to corruption? It's not just a saying, Raiden; it's a harsh truth. Power has a way of corrupting."

Hearing that, Raiden had a sly smile on his face, seemingly expecting such a question "Good Question Diana! And I have the best answer for that…a Council, you see, I want to establish a council, a council that includes representatives from all corners of the world. Not only that, but you as well, and members of the Justice League, and with you all, by my side, we can create a system that maintains justice and equality for all. The council will provide me with the ideas and problems, and in the end, I'll decide, the reason why it has to be me, It's because I truly believe there is no better judge, and If I can surround myself with people like you and Merlin here, people that will guide me correctly...We won't have to worry about oppression or tyranny"

Surprised by Raiden's suggestion of a council, Diana had a bright smile on her, for a second there, she truly believed that Raiden was becoming corrupt and wanted all the power himself, but a council? the idea was intriguing to her but she still wasn't fully convinced "Raiden, your vision of a council that welcomes diverse viewpoints and your willingness to seek counsel are commendable. I respect your commitment to Earth. However, my concern persists about the concentration of power. Even with a council and advisors, ultimate authority rests with the King. How can we ensure that future generations won't misuse this structure? How do we safeguard against the potential for tyranny, despite your good intentions?"

Hearing that, Raiden was actually confused for a second, he hadn't thought about the future generations, so he just shrugged it off saying "Simple....Immortality. I live forever, I know this, and confirmed this, I may be killable, but my life span is eternal" Diana narrowed her eyes, then shook her head saying "Immortality gives you the chance to see humanity's journey through ages, to steer and protect, but it doesn't alter my foremost worry: who will guide you when we're gone? Can you truly rely on a council that holds you as accountable as we do? Can you assure that your endless existence won't tempt corruption? Are today's choices meeting tomorrow's needs? And how do we dodge the trap of complacency under your eternal rule?" As she continued to hammer in her point, Raiden simply lowered his head, then turned to her and said in sincerity "To be honest...I have no clue...but, I can at least say, that the current me. wishes for the best, and this is the best I've come up with"

As he saw the defeated Raiden, Merlin smiled as he said "Isn't that precisely why you seek counsel? As your foremost advisor, may I offer a solution?" both Diana and Raiden turned to Merlin who smiled taking in their silence as a yes saying "Ah, let's see now... Well... First is Humility, hm? We ought to ensure Raiden is surrounded by companions akin to ourselves, not merely to bolster but also to critique him, lest he succumb to complacency. Second, the establishment of local governance is imperative. As a King, Raiden cannot bear the burden of the entire world alone; 'tis an insurmountable task. Instead, he should oversee Earth's leaders, who shall disseminate his ideals to the masses. Thirdly, Rotation—inevitably, even Raiden must relinquish his crown someday, to be succeeded. He shall then join us as counsel, for who better to advise than a former sovereign? And lastly, Adaptation, Innovation, and Education. We must embrace change while nurturing future generations with our ethos and heritage. Thus, we shall ensure the world remains in capable hands, establishing a foundation of perfection."

Both Raiden and Diana had their mouths open at Merlin's words, his plan and vision were too good, and it suited both their ideals, perfectly, this made Diana finally concede as she said "Your ideas are exactly what we require: leadership with humility, diverse perspectives, checks and balances on power, education, and forward-thinking adaptation. It's truly commendable. Sir Merlin, as Raiden said, you are indeed remarkable.

However, Raiden, there's one more thing to consider: putting such an extensive system into action will require enormous effort and trust from the people. Are you prepared for the challenges and resistance that may come during this process?" Hearing that, Raiden smiled as he said with utmost confidence "I am...Are you prepared to stand with me during that?"

"I am ready. As your advisor and counselor, I pledge to fully support your vision for a unified Earth under a single ruler. The Amazonians stand beside you." replied Diana with a smile

"Thank you, Diana, keep it a secret, but you've always been my favorite in the big three" winked Raiden as he said

("With this….The other pieces of domino shall fall in place, I just have to go about this the right way and prove my claim on Earth, but right now, all of that can wait, Raven is more important to me, and the birth of my Son")
