With clenched fists, Mary hit the floor in frustration, anger pouring out. "That wretched witch! This is all her fault!" she yelled, cursing Aurora's name with venom. "This is all her fault! Why won't she just die! Why does she have to ruin everything?" She said hysterically, running her hand through her hair in despair. "I just want her dead! Bloody hell!" More hot tears welled up in her eyes, and she buried her face in her hands.
"You shouldn't say such things. Aurora has nothing to do with our family troubles."
Mary, still seething, looked at Adrian, her eyes swollen from crying and filled with disbelief. "What do you mean she has nothing to do with it? She's the one who started it all." She stood up, fists clenched by her sides. "I am tired of hearing you defend her. She has everything to do with it! If she were dead, I wouldn't have to live under her shadow anymore! I could finally be free from this misery!"
