100% Jessie’s Pokémon Journey (AU) / Chapter 80: End of Kanto, the Start Towards Johto!

Kapitel 80: End of Kanto, the Start Towards Johto!

The episode starts with the gang all walking happily through Pallet Town and looking around at the trainers who are hugging their Pokémon. The narrator begins talking. "Jessie and her friends have arrived back to Pallet Town after a dangerous adventure!"

"Look at all the Pokémon! Not a single red-eyed aggressive Pokémon in sight!" Domino pointed out, happily.

James nods, smiling. "I guess things are back to normal after all!"

Meowth crosses his arms and confidently smirks. "Thanks mostly to me!"

Jessie looks at Meowth with an annoyed look. "You know Mew stepped forward in your position when you were getting destroyed by Mewtwo, right?"

"But I still was able to take down the three legendary birds to get us in that position," Meowth replied.

Domino proceeds to also look at Meowth with an annoyed look. "Articuno and Zapdos, I'll give you credit on them, but Moltres forfeited its match against you."

Meowth groans. "If I never was immune from that brainwashing, you guys would've never stood a chance, so I deserve some credit here!"

The gang looks at one of the trainers hugging their Pidgey. "I'm so happy you're back to normal, Pidgey. I missed you!"

The trainer's Pidgey cries out happily. "Pidgey!"

The gang looks in the other direction to see a different trainer who's also hugging their Pokémon tightly, a Poliwag, and crying. "Don't ever scare me like that again, Poliwag!"

Poliwag cries out in embarrassment. "Poliwag…"

"That trainer's got a Poliwag?" Domino frowns. "Lucky…"

"So where are we going?" James asked.

"Well, I think it's reasonable that we stop at Professor Oak's lab first," Jessie answered.

Domino immediately starts jumping up and down in excitement. "Yes! Yes! Yes! I want to see my baby Azurill right now! Now! Now! Now! Let's go already!" She starts sprinting to Professor Oak's lab.

"Wait for us, Domino!" Jessie yelled out before her, Meowth, and James started sprinting after her.

The title screen shows.

"End of Kanto, the Start Towards Johto!"

The scene cuts to Professor Oak in the lobby watching the news with Azurill right beside him on the couch as the newscaster starts reporting. "To any trainer that has a Pokémon and is scared of sending them out, be afraid no more! All Pokémon are back to normal and listening to their trainers again. The Kanto region is back to normal after days of absolute chaos."

"I always knew Jessie and her friends could do it." Professor Oak looks at Azurill next to him on the couch. "Right, Azurill?"

Azurill nods and cheers out happily. "Azurill!"

The doorbell rings. "I wonder who that can be?" Professor Oak gets off the coach to get to the door with Azurill following him.

As Professor Oak opens the door he is greeted with the gang. "Hello, Professor!" They all said together

Professor Oak smiles at the gang. "If it isn't Jessie, Meowth, Domino, and James! I was expecting you guys' arrival!"

Azurill walks in front of Professor Oak and sees Domino, jumping towards her. "Azurill!"

"AZURILL!" Domino catches Azurill and immediately starts hugging her baby blue Pokémon tightly and crying. "I-I'm so happy you're back to normal. My little Azurill, I missed you so much."

Azurill nuzzles Domino and cries happily once more. "Azurill!"

Jessie chuckles. "Domino is acting like one of those previous trainers we saw earlier."

James also chuckles. "I wouldn't blame her."

From the gang's perspective, a familiar voice is heard behind Professor Oak. "Grandpa, who's at the door?"

"It's Jessie and her friends! You met them before." Professor Oak answered, stepping aside to reveal Cayson, who was holding his Vulpix with his arms.

Jessie waves hello at Cayson, smiling. "Hey, Cayson!"

"Thank you so much for fixing my Vulpix problem. They're back to normal now!" Cayson hugs his Vulpix.

Vulpix cries out happily from being hugged. "Vulpix!"

Jessie blushes in embarrassment and rubs the back of her head. "It's nothing, really Cayson."

Meowth pouts "Oh come on, kid, where's my credit here?!"

"Oh, sorry talking Meowth. Thank you too!" Cayson also embarrassingly chuckles. "It's still amazing that your Meowth can talk, Jessie."

Professor Oak chuckles before speaking to Cayson. "Cayson, why don't you go to your room as I and Jessie and Co. talk about some things?"

Cayson nods. "Okay, Grandpa Oak!" He goes upstairs.

The gang is now inside the building with Professor Oak leading the gang into the lobby. "So Cayson is staying at your place now, Professor Oak?" James questioned.

Professor Oak answers with a nod. "Yep! Since Leaf is far away from home in Johto, I offered her little brother to stay at my place until Leaf returns."

Jessie looks down and sighs. "Leaf's been in Johto for a while now. I know I'm so far behind her it isn't even funny anymore."

Domino chuckles. "You were always behind Leaf from the very start, it shouldn't be a surprise to you, Jessie!"

"Azurill!" Azurill cries out happily.

Jessie falls from the coach in disbelief before quickly getting back up. "NOT THIS FAR BEHIND, DOMINO!"

"So can we go to Johto right now then, Jess?" Meowth questioned.

Jessie shakes her head in response. "Not yet, Meowth. We have to do some things before we set out to Johto. Like, seeing all our Pokémon again, seeing my mom, and how to get there?"

"James' Charizard is back to normal, we can just fly there on its back!" Meowth suggested.

James also shakes his head. "No can do, Meowth. I explained this before when you suggested using Charizard to fly over Victory Road. Neither I nor Charizard knows where Johto is, so we can't."

Meowth groans in annoyance. "I forgot about that. I hate that stupid rule!"

"Wait, so how are we going to get to Johto then?" Domino questioned. "I don't think Jessie's Blastoise can carry all four of us on them over the ocean."

Azurill also cries out in questioning. "Azurill?"

"We'll cross that bridge when we get there," Jessie answered. "Right now, we haven't sent all of our Pokémon out of their Poké Balls in a long time since the brainwashing."

"Oh yes! I bet all of your Pokémon are just waiting to see the outside once more. How about we all head outside to my corral and then all of you can send your Pokémon out and then I will take a picture?" Professor Oak holds up a camera with a smile.

James nods. "Sounds like a great idea to me!"

"A picture to remember all three of us from our adventure together! I'm so down for it!" Jessie added.

"It would be a great memory to share so sure!" Domino also added.

Meowth crosses his arms. "Just make sure you get my good side, Professor Grandpa."

Professor Oak chuckles and rubs the back of his head embarrassingly. "Right… let's go to my corral."

The scene cuts to Professor Oak and the gang arriving outside Professor Oak's Corral as the gang gasps in shock upon seeing so much Pokémon. "Look at all the Pokémon here," Jessie stated.

"And they're back to normal too and not brainwashed as well," Domino added.

"Azurill!" Azurill cries out happily.

Professor Oak nods. "Ah yes, after I noticed Azurill wasn't brainwashed anymore in the tube, I decided to get all the Pokémon that are stored in the storage room and let them out to play and have fun after being cooped up in their Poké Balls for days."

"The storage room?" James questions.

"Correct, James. The storage room is where I keep all the extra Poké Balls containing their Pokémon from trainers that received a Kanto Pokédex from me." Professor Oak answered.

Jessie realizes something. "Wait, so that means if all the Pokémon are currently out here in the corral, that means-"

Jessie hears the sound of two of her Pokémon flying towards her. "Free!" "Pidgeotto!" It was Butterfree and Pidgeotto.

Jessie smiles in delight upon seeing two of her Pokémon. "Butterfree! Pidgeotto!"

"That does mean all of your Pokémon are currently out of their Poké Balls, Jessie." Professor Oak stated with a smile.

Meowth throws a peace sign at Pidgeotto and Butterfree. "Long time no see you guys!"

"Pidgeotto!" "Free!" The two Pokémon replied to Meowth.

Shiny Diglett pops up from the ground next to Jessie with excitement and sparkling. "Diglett Dig! Diglett Dig! Diglett Dig!"

"Diglett! My first ever shiny Pokémon! How are you doing, little guy?" Jessie leans down on one knee and pets her shiny Diglett.

Jessie feels the ground shaking beneath her and before Jessie can react, Onix pops up from the ground right below her Jessie is now standing high on top of Onix's head. "Onix!" The Pokémon cried out cheerfully.

Jessie looks down and laughs cheerfully, "Hey Onix!" She starts stumbling and almost falls to the ground before controlling her balance. "Can you let me down now, please?"

Onix nods. "Onix!" The rock snake Pokémon lowers its head so that Jessie can safely hop back onto the ground.

More of Jessie's other Pokémon heading towards her: Ekans, Shellder, and Nidoqueen all arrive to surround their trainer. The three Pokémon all cried out cheerfully for their trainer. "Ekans!" "Shellder!" "Nidoqueen!"

"It's nice to see a little reunion of Jessie's other Pokémon, right, James?" Domino looks over at James.

James replies with a nod. "We haven't seen these Pokémon for a while."

Domino looks down at Azurill with a chuckle. "What about you, Azurill?"

Azurill cheerfully cries out repeatedly while being excited. "Azurill! Azurill!"

Jessie realizes some of her Pokémon are missing and turns to Professor Oak. "Wait, what about Kakuna, Gyarados, and Snorlax, Professor?"

"They're here too, it's just that: Kakuna can't move, Gyarados is in the lake, and Snorlax is currently sleeping like it always does half of the day." Professor Oak answered before pointing over where Kakuna was. "Kakuna is over there, Jessie."

Jessie looks where Professor Oak is pointing and spots Kakuna. "Kakuna!" She rushes to it with Meowth, Domino, and James following her.

Domino starts shivering at the sight of Kakuna and hides behind James. "I-I'm just going to hide behind you if that's okay, J-James."

"Uhh… okay?" James agreed in confusion.

"Seriously?" Meowth said with an annoyed look at Domino.

Jessie picks up Kakuna, smiling very grateful. "Hey Kakuna, how are you doing? Still stuck in that cocoon, huh?" She jokingly chuckles.

"Kakuna," Kakuna replied.

"Professor, will you take me to see Snorlax and Gyarados?" Jessie asked.

Professor Oak nods. "Of course, Jessie! Just follow me and I'll lead you to Snorlax first and then Gyarados."

"A-are you going to bring Kakuna along with y-you?" Domino asked while shaking nervously.

"Yes! Kakuna can't move and it isn't fair with the little one. If you don't like it then you can happily stand right here." Jessie replied as she, Meowth, and James started following Professor Oak.

"Azurill!" Azurill jumps out of Domino's arms and also starts following the rest.

"Azurill! Get back here!" Domino hears the sound of a Pokémon behind her and turns around as a trainer's Pinsir looks at her.

"Pinsir!" The stag beetle Pokémon cried out at Domino.

"AHHHHHHH!" Domino screamed out. She starts rushing to the overs. "Guys, wait for me!"

The scene cuts to the gang and Professor arriving where Snorlax is on the corral; sleeping and snoring against a tree. "Snoooooorlaaaaax. Snoooooorlaaaaax."

Jessie tries to wake Snorlax by shouting and waving one of her hands back and forth. "Snorlax, wake up! It's me, Jessie!"

Snorlax continues sleeping as Professor Oak chuckles. "Jessie, the only way you're gonna get Snorlax to wake up is if they smell food." He holds up an apple.

Immediately after Professor Oak takes out the apple and holds it up, Snorlax starts sniffing and immediately stops leaning on the tree, waking up. "Snorlax!"

Jessie starts waving her hand some more to get Snorlax's attention. "Snorlax! It's me, Jessie!"

Snorlax looks down and notices their trainer. "Snorlax!" The sleeping Pokémon cried happily before grabbing the apple from Professor Oak and eating it.

"Snorlax, we're going to take a picture with all of mine and my friend's Pokémon. Can I trust you being in it too by staying awake?" Jessie asked.

Snorlax nods, as it cries happily again. "Snorlax!"

"Wait, can we even trust Snorlax to get up and move to the location we want to take the picture?" Domino asked.

"That's why Poké Balls were invented, they can come in handy." Professor Oak chuckles before pulling out Snorlax's Poké Ball and recalling the sleeping Pokémon. "Snorlax, return!"

"What's our next location, Professor?" James asked.

"Our next location is the lake, where Jessie's Gyarados and other trainers' fish water type Pokémon are kept in the corral." Professor Oak answered.

Domino's eyes start sparkling in amazement. "I hope one of the Pallet Town trainers has caught a gorgeous Lapras!"

The scene cuts to the gang and Professor Oak arriving at the lake. "Oh Gyarados, are you there?"

A few seconds pass and Gyarados springs up from the water and roars, causing James to shake a little. "I'm still a little freaked out of what happened in the Pewter Gym and when we were walking on the ice to the Seafoam Islands."

"Oh come on, that was a different Gyarados when we walked on the ice, James," Domino says with an annoyed tone.

"You shouldn't talk when every bug in the world scares the living daylights out of you." James fires back.

"Burn!" Meowth laughed.

Jessie waves hello at Gyarados with a smile. "Gyarados! I'm glad I'm seeing you again!"

Gyarados forms a smile and roars happily back at Jessie in response as Professor Oak chuckles. "Sounds like Gyarados is very happy you're here, Jessie."

"Gyarados, we're about to take a picture. You don't mind if we take it here so that you don't have to get out of the water?" Jessie asked.

Gyarados happily roars with a nod.

"That's a great idea, Jessie, taking the picture here at the lake." Professor Oak holds up his camera as he turns around. "Everyone, if you're one of Jessie's Pokémon, please report to the lake!"

All of Jessie's extra Pokémon: Butterfree, Pidgeotto, Ekans, Shellder, Onix, Diglett, and Nidoqueen arrived at the lake and all of them cried in enjoyment.

Professor Oak sends out Jessie's Snorlax for the picture and the sleeping Pokémon materializes. "Snorlax!"

Jessie looks at Kakuna who she's holding. "Ready for the picture, Kakuna?"

"Kakuna." Kakuna cries out.

"Can we send our Pokémon out now, Professor?" Domino asked.

"Of course, Domino. You, Jessie, and James may do so!" Professor Oak answered.

Both Jessie, Domino, and James get excited as they throw out all of their Poké Balls to send them out. "Electabuzz, Rapidash, Blastoise, Scizor, and Gengar, I missed you all!" "Starmie, Clefable, and Ivysaur come on out!" "Koffing, Pikachu, Charizard, Slowbro, and Gengar, let me see you again!"

Jessie, Domino, and James' Pokémon all materialize as they cry out in joy with the gang immediately group hugging all of their Pokémon. "It's been so many days since seeing you all again!" Domino said.

"I was getting used to the darkness of my Poké Ball. It was lovely." James' Gengar says with a laugh.

"So you don't mind recalling you back, right?" James holds up his Gengar's Poké Ball, jokingly threatening to recall them.

"NO! PLEASE DON'T!" James' Gengar pleaded.

"The first picture will be the Pokémon and the trainers, then the second one will be just the Pokémon! Everyone, please line up shortest to the front and tallest to the back!" Professor Oak ordered.

The scene cuts to short Pokémon up front like Meowth, Azurill, Electabuzz, Pikachu, Kakuna, Starmie, Ivysaur, Shellder, and Ekans. Then in the middle are the gang, the two Gengar, Rapidash, Nidoqueen, Clefable, and Blastoise. In the back are Charizard, Onix, Snorlax, and Gyarados, who are still in the water. While the Pokémon that mostly fly are in the air such as Scizor, Pidgeotto, and Butterfree.

Professor Oak starts holding the camera, getting ready to take a picture. "Alright, is everyone ready?"

All of the Pokémon, minus Meowth, cried in agreement. Jessie, Meowth, Domino, and James all say "Yes!"

"Say Pokémon!" Professor Oak snaps the photo as the picture is fully taken. "Okay, now just the Pokémon."

Jessie, Domino, and James move out of the frame so it can only be Pokémon in the future picture.

"Now I want every Pokémon to give me a big smile and say their cry!" Professor Oak holds up the camera once more. "On three. One. Two. Three!"

As Professor Oak snaps the photo of the Pokémon, the picture reveals that a huge net has dropped down and trapped all the Pokémon, minus Kakuna.

"WHAT?!" The gang screamed out before immediately looking up to see a red R Team Rocket hot air balloon holding all their Pokémon in a huge net.

The sound of three people laughing is heard as Cassidy and Butch peek their heads from hiding under the basket. "Prepare for trouble!" "And you can make that double!" "To infect the world with devastation!" "To brighten all people within every nation!" "To denounce the goodness of truth or love!" "To extend our wrath to the stars above!" "Cassidy!" "Butch!" "We're Team Rocket, circling Earth all day and night!" "Surrender to us now or you will surely lose the fight!" Mondo pops up to complete the motto. "I'm Mondo, alright!"

"TEAM ROCKET!" The gang screamed out in frustration.

"You three! Let go of those Pokémon right now!" Professor Oak demanded.

Azurill starts bursting into tears while in the net. "Azurill!"

"AZURILL!" Domino yelled out, also bursting into tears.

"I don't think so, gramps!" Butch replied with a laugh.

"But thank you for setting us up with the perfect heist because we got all the twerp's Pokémon, including Meowth in one swoop of our Team Rocket net!" Cassidy added with a laugh.

Mondo notices Kakuna on the ground. "Uhh guys, we forgot one." He points at the Pokemon.

Butch scoffs. "Whatever. It's a lame Kakuna that can't even move. What's it going to do?"

"Meowth, use Scratch to cut the net!" Jessie commanded.

"You losers ain't getting me that easily because I'm busting everyone out of here!" Meowth's claw glows sharp and tries to cut the net with its Scratch attack but it doesn't break at all and hurts Meowth's paw instead. "OW! How come that hurt me and not the net?!"

Cassidy laughs at Meowth's failed attempt at escaping. "Silly Meowth, this net is made out of material that is uncuttable!"

Jessie grits her teeth. "Then Meowth, use Thunder-"

Mondo immediately cuts Jessie off to warn her. "Hold up, twerpette. Unless you care about your and your friends' Pokémon and don't want to hurt them, I wouldn't use a move while they're all inside this large net!"

"He's right, Jessie. Don't you dare hurt my little Azurill!" Domino warned.

"Then how are we supposed to get our Pokémon back when we have no Pokémon to rescue?!" Jessie questioned with worriedness.

Cassidy grins. "I guess you twerps just have to sit there like good little trainers and let us steal all of your Pokémon!"

"Adios!" Team Rocket said altogether as their hot air balloon rose higher and higher with the net below containing all the gang's Pokémon, minus Kakuna.

"JESSIE, DO SOMETHING!" Meowth screamed out.

Jessie starts panicking left and right on what to do. "What to do?! What to do?!"

"Kakuna." Kakuna begins glowing white, starting to evolve as the gang and Professor Oak are oblivious because it's happening behind them.

Professor Oak got an idea. "Don't worry, I'll be back with some of the other trainers' Pokémon!"

But before Professor Oak can run off, James looks behind him and notices Kakuna evolving. "Guys, look! I think that's Kakuna!" This causes the rest to also turn around.

Jessie's eyes widened. "Kakuna, you're evolving?!"

The white glow fades away as the evolution process is complete. Beedrill buzzes out of joy from finally evolving fully.

Professor Oak smiles and chuckles at the evolution. "Or I'll just let Beedrill handle things."

"EEK!" Domino shrieks and immediately hides behind James, shaking in fear.

The Team Rocket trio's eyes widened upon seeing Kakuna evolve into a Beedrill. "I think this is bad news for us…" Mondo stated.

Butch scoffs. "Oh please, like if that stupid wasp can tear open our uncuttable net!"

Jessie notices the rope under the basket of the hot air balloon that's holding the net. "Beedrill, fly up there and cut the rope that's holding the net!" She commanded.

Beedrill nods, buzzing, and then starts to fly up to Team Rocket's hot air balloon.

Cassidy turns to her partners-in-crime. "Guys, the rope part is also uncuttable too, right?"

"Uhh… maybe?" Mondo answered but was not sure.

Beedrill flies up to the rope and then cuts it with its stinger, causing Team Rocket's large net to fly open and start plumbing to the ground.

The Team Rocket trio's jaws all open in shock. "WHAT?!" "NO WAY!" "WE WERE SO CLOSE!"

"Now Beedrill, go and pop their balloon!" Jessie commanded next.

Beedrill flies up to Team Rocket's hot air balloon and pops it with its stinger, sending the hot air balloon spiraling out of control and blasting off Team Rocket. "LOOKS LIKE TEAM ROCKET IS BLASTING OFF AGAIN!" Ding!

The gang's Pokémon are all still falling to the ground, minus the two Gengar and Koffing that float back to the ground.

"JESSIE, WE NEED SOME HELP HERE!" Meowth screamed out.

"OUR POKÉMON!" James and Domino both also screamed out.

"The Pokémon that can fly, the catch has many falling Pokémon you can hold!" Jessie commanded.

Butterfree, Scizor, Pidgeotto, Beedrill, Charizard, and Gyarados all immediately spring into action: Butterfree catches Shellder, Beedrill catches Azurill, Scizor catches Ekans, Pidgeotto catches Meowth and Pikachu, Charizard catches Electabuzz, Rapidash, and Slowbro, and finally Gyarados catches Nidoqueen, Clefable, and Ivysaur. As for the others: Blastoise and Starmie aimed and landed into the lake, Onix and Diglett aimed into one of their underground holes, and Snorlax landed on its gut.

The gang and Professor Oak all sighed in relief knowing all Pokémon were okay. "That was a close one…" Professor Oak said.

The scene cuts to where Team Rocket's hot air balloon landed, which is into a tree as the trio hop out of their basket and land onto the ground. "Once again, another failed attempt! If only we remembered to make the rope also uncuttable!" Cassidy stated.

Butch groans and rolls his eyes. "Don't start now please."

Mondo's communicator watch starts ringing as he looks at it. "Oh no, it's the boss!"

Butch growls. "And there it is! About the time our firing happens. After we failed to secure the three legendary birds, and then the base exploded, it looks like this is the end for us."

Cassidy slaps Butch. "Quit being negative! You don't know that yet, Butch! Mondo, accept the call."

Mondo nods and accepts the call. However, from the other line, it's not Giovanni, it's a different person who has their back turned to shield their identity. "The three of you, report to Team Rocket's Headquarters immediately if you want to keep your jobs as members of Team Rocket." The call ends after that.

Mondo gulps, shaking a little. "Th-that wasn't Giovanni."

Butch starts questioning. "What's going on? What happened to Giovanni? Do we have a new boss now?"

"Questioning everything isn't going to give us answers. You heard the unknown person, if we want to keep our jobs we have to head over to Team Rocket's Headquarters. Come on, let's go." Cassidy said as she, Butch, and Mondo began walking to their headquarters.

The scene cuts back to Professor Oak's corral. Domino and James recall all of their Pokémon, minus Azurill, back to their Poké Ball, but Jessie doesn't.

Domino hugs Azurill tightly. "I'm so happy you're safe, Azurill!"

"Azurill!" Azurill cries out happily.

"Are you okay, Meowth?" Jessie questioned.

"Team Rocket trying to steal me, the usual," Meowth replied.

Jessie chuckles at Meowth's comment. "Right." She turns to Beedrill. "Thank you so much for evolving, Beedrill. You were the M.V.P of saving all of our Pokémon."

Beedrill buzzes happily to its trainer before flying off.

Professor Oak walks up to Jessie. "Well Jessie, we took the pictures, you met with all of your other Pokémon, I think you want to set out to Johto now, correct?"

"Oh yes! I have to get to Johto before Leaf gets even further than me. But…" Jessie sighs. "There's an announcement I need to make with the five Pokémon that were on my team." She turns around to face Electabuzz, Rapidash, Scizor, Gengar, and Blastoise.

Jessie's Pokémon all cried out in questioning of what was happening. "Elebububu?" "Neigh?" "Scizor?" "Gengar?" "Blastoise?"

"What are you going to say, Jessie?" James questioned.

"Yeah, what is it?" Domino added.

Azurill even cries out in questioning. "Azurill?"

"I'm sorry to do this, but I have to. You all did great in the league and the five of you especially helped me out with battles and dealing with Team Rocket, but in my definition of how to be a Pokémon Master, I have to learn how to train many different Pokémon to make my skills as a trainer stronger. I just can't stick with the same Pokémon. So I'm leaving the five of you with Professor Oak and the rest of my Pokémon as I go to Johto." Jessie looks down. "I-I'm sorry guys."

Meowth's eyes widened after that, looking at his trainer. "I know I'm not included, but I'm still shocked."

"Jessie, are you sure you want to do this?" Domino questioned.

"You want to start new?" James also questioned.

Jessie looks at her friends and nods. "I'm sure. A new region means a fresh new start, after all." She then turns back to her five-party Pokémon. "I'm sorry, I hope you understand my decision."

After a short pause: Rapidash, Electabuzz, Scizor, Gengar, and Blastoise group hug their trainer, showing that they support Jessie's decision to leave them with Professor Oak.

Jessie smiles in delight, hugging her Pokémon back. "I love you guys so much! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"

All the five Pokémon cried out in happiness in response. "Elebububu!" "Neigh!" "Scizor!" "Gengar!" "Blastoise!"

After the separation of the group hug, Jessie pulls out all her Pokémon's five Poké Balls and hands them to Professor Oak. "Here you go, Professor. I know my Pokémon will be very much safe with you."

Professor Oak nods and accepts the Poké Balls. "Thank you, Jessie."

Domino brings up something they discussed before. "Wait, we still haven't found out how we're going to Johto."

"Oh right… we are sure in a pickle." James says, rubbing the back of his head.

Professor Oak chuckles. "Fear not! You three can happily borrow my boat at the Pallet Docks to help you get to Johto!"

The gang all gasp in delight. "Really?!" Jessie says.

Professor Oak nods. "Yep! I'll notify my assistant, Aaliyah, and she will happily drive my boat to Johto for you guys."

James bows. "Thank you so much, Professor!"

"Yeah, we're very grateful for helping us!" Domino added.

"Azurill!" Azurill cries out cheerfully.

Professor Oak rubs the back of his head out of embarrassment. "Any time!"

"Jess, don't forget that you should go see and tell your mom that you're heading to Johto." Meowth reminded his trainer.

"Oh right! Thanks for reminding me, Meowth! Okay, Professor, we're off to see my mom before we head off to a different region." Jessie and the gang begin walking.

Professor Oak shouts to Jessie, causing the gang to stop. "Wait, Jessie."

Jessie and the rest turn to Professor Oak. "Yes, Professor?"

"Before our last meeting when you head to Johto, there's something in my lab that I want to give you. Will you and only you follow me to my laboratory?" Professor Oak asked.

Jessie nods. "Of course, Professor. This does look important."

Professor Oak and Jessie start heading inside to the professor's laboratory, Meowth starts following them but stops at Professor Oak turning to him. "This includes you, Meowth, only Jessie."

Meowth apologizes. "Oh, sorry."

As Jessie and Professor Oak continue walking, Electabuzz secretly sheds a tear upon seeing its trainer leaving. "Elebububu…"

The scene cuts to Professor Oak's laboratory with the professor giving something to Jessie. "Here, take this."

Jessie looks at the item that Professor Oak gave her. It was a Poké Ball but the top half of the exterior was black with the letter 'S' in white and the bottom half white exterior also has the letter 'S' on it but in black. "Is this… a Poké Ball, Professor?" Jessie questioned.

"Correct, Jessie, but it's not a normal Poké Ball." Professor Oak announces the name to her. "Introducing the S.O.S Ball."

"The S.O.S Ball?" Jessie sees the two letter Ss on the S.O.S Ball. "Where's the O?"

"The round encircle of the ball forms the O." Professor Oak answered.

"Oh, quite clever design." Jessie starts questioning some more about the S.O.S Ball. "But if I'm assuming this type of Poké Ball is made for only emergencies given by its name then how would some empty Poké Ball help me?"

Professor Oak starts explaining to Jessie about the S.O.S Ball. "Oh, this type of Poké Ball isn't empty, Jessie. There is a Pokémon inside that S.O.S Ball, a very strong undiscovered Pokémon. No Pokédex in the world has this Pokémon registered and this Pokémon is so strong, no Pokémon can battle against it and come on top, not even Mewtwo."

Jessie has her mouth open in shock. "Wow! So you're just giving me this undiscovered Pokémon, Professor?! But why?"

Professor Oak explains some more. "I made up my mind to give you this S.O.S Ball in the future after what happened at the Kanto League Tournament semifinals when you faced Samantha. You almost lost your life by losing to her. This world is a dangerous place, Jessie, filled with evil criminals who have no sympathy for other people's lives. Just in case you get yourself in another life-or-death situation again, you have the Pokémon in the S.O.S Ball to help you."

Jessie continues looking at the Poké Ball. "Thank you, Professor. I'll use it only for life-threatening emergencies."

Professor Oak nods. "I know you will, Jessie, but just in case, the Pokémon inside this Poké Ball will only come out if you throw it and they know that you are in one. I also programmed it so that this Poké Ball will not affect your party count, so you can still have six Pokémon with you even with it. Two more things before you can leave. First, don't let anyone else know about this Poké Ball, not even your friends or your Meowth. Second, after the Pokémon has been released and fulfills their purpose of protecting you, they will then fly off to an isolated area of the world."

"So I can only use this undiscovered Pokémon once?" Jessie questioned.

Professor Oak nods once more. "Correct. This Pokémon is not registered in the Pokédex, which makes it an undiscovered Pokémon. If anyone hears about it, especially a criminal organization, they're gonna do whatever their power to steal it. That's why no one else can find out about this one Pokémon."

Jessie nods and clutches her fist. "Got it, Professor. I'll take good care of this Pokémon and make sure no one else knows about this S.O.S Ball. Again, thank you for giving me this emergency Pokémon."

Professor Oak chuckles. "No problem. Now I believe you have a mother waiting for a visit."

"Got it!" Jessie puts the S.O.S Ball in her purse and heads out of Professor Oak's laboratory.

The scene cuts to the gang arriving outside of Jessie's house as she knocks on the door.

As the door immediately opens up, Jessie hugs them with her eyes closed. "Mom, it's me! I missed you so much!" She starts nuzzling her cheek onto them.

Meowth, Domino, and James all looked at each other with weirded-out expressions as Domino decided to speak up. "Uhh Jessie, you might want to look at who you're hugging."

"Huh?" Jessie opens her eyes and looks to see she is hugging and nuzzling Mr. Mime all this time.

"Mr. Mime!" Mr. Mime cried out cheerfully.

"AH!" Jessie takes a step back. "My mom… she has turned into a Mr. Mime!" She kneels in disbelief as she begins to cry. "Why world why!"

Mr. Mime scratches their head in confusion. "Mr. Mime?"

The sound of Jessie's mother's voice is heard. "Who's that at the door, Mr. Mime?" Miyamoto arrives at the door and sees her daughter on her knees crying. "Jessie, why are you crying?"

Jessie looks up at her mother. "Because you turned into a Mr. Mime, Mom!"

Meowth, Domino, and James all facepalm together. "Can we still pretend we haven't met her yet?" James rhetorically asked.

"Wait!" Jessie immediately stands back up and wipes her tears away. "Mom, you're fine and not turned into a Mr. Mime?!"

Miyamoto covers her mouth as she chuckles. "I didn't turn into a Mr. Mime, sweetheart. Jessie and others, I would like you to meet Mr. Mime!"

Mr. Mime waves at the gang. "Mr. Mime!"

"Mr. Mime is going to help me with all the chores and keep me company while you're out with your adventures, Jessie," Miyamoto stated.

"When did you get Mr. Mime?" Domino asked.

Miyamoto starts scratching her head to come up with an excuse. "Uhh…"

A quick flashback happens of Jessie's battle with Samantha in the semifinals where Miyamoto obtained Mr. Mime. "Stupid worthless Pokémon!" After Samantha recalls Mr. Mime, she throws its Poké Ball into the crowd which strikes Miyamoto.

"Ow!" Miyamoto cried out as she caught the Poké Ball. "A Poké Ball?"

The flashback ends and it cuts to the present time with Miyamoto telling a lie about how she obtained Mr. Mime, wanting the gang to not know that this was one of Samantha's previous Pokémon. "I found that Mr. Mime was wandering and looking for a home before the brainwashing occurred and I was finally able to let him out of their Poké Ball!"

"I see!" Jessie smiles and waves at Mr. Mime. "Hi, Mr. Mime! I hope you keep my mom company as I explore Johto!"

Mr. Mime happily nods. "Mr. Mime!"

"You're going all the way to Johto, sweetie?" Miyamoto asked.

"Oh yeah…" Jessie rubs the back of her head. "I am mom, that's why I came all this way to visit you. I'm going to be far away from home and I just want to let you know."

Miyamoto looks at Domino and James before looking at her daughter. She hugs her tightly. "I have to accept the fact you're growing up and can take care of your own now. I witnessed it before and you got friends too to keep you safe. Good luck, dear!"

Jessie hugs back with a smile. "Thanks, Mom!"

After Jessie and her mother break their hug, she turns to her friends. "So are we ready to head on over to the docks?" Meowth asked.

Jessie nods. "Yep, let's go!"

"Bye sweetie, take care!" Miyamoto waves goodbye to her daughter and her friends.

"Mr. Mime!" Mr. Mime waves goodbye to them too.

The gang all wave goodbye back at Miyamoto and Mr. Mime as the scene cuts to the Pallet Docks with Domino, James, and Meowth hopping onto the boat. "I can't wait to see all the wonderful water Pokémon Johto has to offer!" Domino says in delight.

"I can't wait to see some Johto Pokémon myself." James turns to Jessie. "Jessie, are you ready?"

"Yep!" Jessie replied, about to step on the boat.

Before she can, the gang hears the sound of the cry of a screaming Electabuzz. "ELEBUBUBU!"

The gang sees Electabuzz with its Poké Ball in their hand on the dock. "Electabuzz?" Jessie questioned.

"Elebububu!" Electabuzz tosses its Poké Ball to Jessie.

As Jessie catches Electabuzz's Poké Ball, Meowth translates what Electabuzz said. "Electabuzz says they want to come with Jessie to Johto, whether you like it or not, Jess."

Jessie looks at its Poké Ball in her hands and Electabuzz, then she chuckles. "Well, it looks like I have no choice, right? Electabuzz, return!" Jessie recalls Electabuzz back in its Poké Ball.

"ELEBUBUBU!" Electabuzz cheers out in victory before getting recalled.

"So Electabuzz is coming with us?" Domino asked.

"Indeed!" Jessie hops on the boat. "Aaliyah, we're all on the boat and ready!"

"Yes, Jessie!" Aaliyah starts the boat up and begins driving it.

After the boat gets farther away from Kanto, the gang all looks back at the region, all of them smiling. "I'm sure going to miss Kanto," Domino admits.

"I'm sure we're gonna be back here at some point," James replied.

"New region means fresh new Pokémon to be victims of my claws!" Meowth shows off his sharp claws.

Jessie chuckles at Meowth's comment. "It's best we look back at the wonderful journey we had."

The Pokémon Theme starts playing while the gang is still looking back at Kanto.

(I wanna be the very best, like no one ever was.)

(Pokémon! Gotta catch 'em all! Our hearts so true!)

(Our courage will pull us through!)

Meowth hops on Jessie's shoulder with smiles on both of them with Domino and James smiling right behind them as Jessie looks on at the ocean.

(You teach me and I teach you! Pokémon!)

Jessie raises her fist in the air with motivation.

(Gotta catch 'em all! Gotta catch 'em all! Pokémon!)

The narrator begins speaking as the instrumental begins playing in the background. "Jessie has come very far from the first day of starting her journey. But the steps of becoming a Pokémon Master are still far but she's still walking up them as she, Meowth, Domino, and James are now heading to Johto!"

"TO JOHTO WE GO!" Jessie screamed out with her first rose in the air as the screen slowly faded to black.
