The atmosphere was tense within the Police Department.

The newly arrived intern, Cerenia, was sorting through the scant clues they had just collected.

Cerenia looked up, seeing the Chief of Police personally greeting a man clad in a suit and leather shoes into the office.

The man was stern, exuding an aura of authority. The Chief was almost bending ninety degrees in front of him.

Cerenia secretly rolled her eyes.

Tough on the inside, subservient on the outside.

Mr. Philbert adjusted his glasses on the bridge of his nose, and spoke in a businesslike manner, "Mr. Cook is very concerned about Ms. Aubree's disappearance, and hopes that you may solve the case and find her whereabouts quickly, otherwise…"
