Kapitel 30: Tell me why we're here

Mason placed his hands around Tessy's waist and cleaned every corner of her mouth with his tongue, leaving no trace of chocolate in it. Then, he finally let go and nodded.

"You're right, it is sweet." He snickered and she covered her mouth. What was it that made her think of such a terrible idea? "But, you taste better!" He added and for the first time in all her years of living, Tessy blushed.

Her cheeks were tainted pink that even Mason thought he had started hallucinating. He blinked severally but the blush was still there. Did the sweet in the chocolate get to her head?

It was said that too much sweet and sugar could cause someone to think, act and say things that they don't mean but, was two mouthfuls of chocolate cake enough to cause that?

"Don't stare at me that way. It makes me think that you're..." She stopped talking when she felt that something was wrong.
