Kapitel 19: Unveiling Connections

The Kyoto streets were quiet in the stillness of the night as Fuji walked, contemplating his conversation with Amane. With the weight of unexpected revelations hanging over him, he couldn't help but feel a growing sense of responsibility toward both Amane and Izumi.

As he dialed Amane's number, there was an unmistakable urgency in his voice.

**Amane:** "Did you find him? How is he, is he alright? Is he safe?"

Fuji realized the gravity of the situation and tried to reassure Amane, urging him to calm down before delving into the details.

**Fuji:** "That Izumi is my student. I recently came to know about his mother being Mihuru. I was also shocked."

Amane's astonishment mirrored Fuji's own when he discovered the connection between his student and Mihuru. Fuji continued to explain.

**Fuji:** "He wanted to know about us, especially about you, Amane. He believes there is something connected to us regarding his family. I saw the same determination in him as I saw in you when we first fought. I thought it was just a coincidence. During his six months of training, I transformed his body and honed his skills. He has the rare ability to copy moves after seeing them just once."

Amane's shock deepened. The talent to mimic others' abilities was a rare and coveted one, typically seen only in individuals of great potential. His curiosity about Izumi's background grew, and he inquired further.

**Amane:** "Where is he now?"

Fuji explained, his voice tinged with a sense of surprise at the unfolding events.

**Fuji:** "After his training was completed, he left for his home, deeply concerned about his family. But he's Mihuru's son. It's quite a surprising twist, even for me."

Amane absorbed this new information with mixed feelings. It was a lot to process, considering everything he had experienced. His past with Mihuru, his assumed death, and now the revelation that a young man who shared his appearance was Mihuru's son.

**Amane:** "I see... thanks for everything, Fuji."

Fuji couldn't help but be intrigued by the uncanny resemblance between Izumi and Amane. He wanted to explore the possibility further, but Amane's words held a note of caution.

**Fuji:** "Amane, there's something I want to tell you. When I trained him and transformed him from being overweight to his current state, he looked like a carbon copy of you, except for his yellow eyes. Could that be..."

Amane abruptly stopped Fuji, knowing that false hope could be more painful than the uncertainty he currently faced.

**Amane:** "Fuji... no, I don't want to entertain false hopes again. I'm still trying to recover from Mihuru. I don't think I can handle another glimmer of hope."

Fuji understood Amane's reservations, and in the silence that followed, both men were left grappling with the complex web of connections and emotions that now bound them together, more deeply entwined than ever before.

Fuji's voice held a reassuring tone as he responded to Amane's reluctance.

**Fuji:** "Alright, I understand. He'll be with his family soon, just give it a couple of days. Don't worry."

Amane could sense Fuji's understanding and support through the phone. With a heavy heart and a mixture of emotions, he knew that he had to be patient and allow Izumi to find his answers and reunite with his family.

Amane appreciated Fuji's assistance and concern, but he was also curious about Fuji's own situation.

**Amane:** "Thanks for everything, Fuji. But what about your own family? When are you planning to reunite with them?"

Fuji's response carried a hint of uncertainty and vulnerability.

**Fuji:** "I don't know, Amane. You know my story, right? I'm not sure if they'll accept me as I am now."

Amane understood Fuji's dilemma, and he wanted to reassure his friend.

**Amane:** "Fuji, I believe in second chances. Maybe it's time you try to reconnect with your family. You've changed, just like I have. Don't let the past hold you back. You deserve happiness too."

Fuji was touched by Amane's words but remained contemplative about his decision.

**Fuji:** "You might be right, Amane. I'll think about it. Take care of yourself and Mihuru. And if you ever need my help, you know where to find me."

With that, they bid each other farewell, both carrying their own burdens and hopes for the future.

Mihuru sat in her dimly lit office, consumed by thoughts of her son and the man she had once loved. Her mind swirled with regrets, wondering if things could have been different.

**Mihuru:** (*whispering to herself*) "Amane... What if you were still alive? Could we have been a happy family?"

As she mused over her past, Amane, now known as DG, walked into her office with his usual enigmatic demeanor. Mihuru was taken aback by his presence, but before she could speak, he addressed her with a cold, emotionless tone.

**Amane (DG):** "Your son is safe. He'll be back in two days."

Mihuru's eyes widened in astonishment. She couldn't fathom how DG had managed to achieve what she, with all her power, couldn't.

**Mihuru:** (*with a mix of surprise and curiosity*) "How... How did you find him? Even with all my influence, I couldn't..."

Amane's demeanor remained unyielding, and he interrupted her, his tone icy and distant.

**Amane (DG):** "I've done what I could to help you. Now, I won't be a part of your life any longer."

Mihuru was taken aback by his sudden coldness and tried to voice her concerns.

**Mihuru:** (*anxiously*) "But, DG, if something goes wrong, if he doesn't return..."

Amane interrupted her, his words echoing with finality.

**Amane (DG):** "Mrs. Chairwoman, you have the power to destroy me. If he doesn't come back, you're free to do as you please. After all, I'm nothing more than a mere celebrity compared to you."

With those words, Amane left Mihuru's office, leaving her to contemplate the enigmatic man who had brought her hope, only to withdraw from her life once more.
