Lumma stepped forward and greeted Adam respectfully, "Good morning, Mr. Hills!"
Adam ate her breakfast gracefully and didn't even take a glance at her.
Lumma had seen this indifferent side his long time ago. Thus, she didn't care. She stood a few meters away from him and said, "There is something I have to tell you, Mr. Hills."
After Adam finished eating, he finally looked at her and asked, "What is it?"
Lumma stood up straight, looked Adam in the eye, and said, "I respect you because you are my boss. I don't have other feelings for you other than that."
He was smart enough to know whether she had feelings for him or not.
Adam wanted to laugh. "Do you think I have feelings for you? You are a married woman?"
Lumma didn't dare to think that way. "I know it sounds ridiculous. I know who I am. I tell you this because I don't want people around you to misunderstand me. If that happens, I won't be able to work in the future."
