As Kristina and Jennifer probably guessed, George just wanted to improve himself as a lawyer. Only by dealing with stronger opponents could he make it happen. Otherwise, there would be little hope that he could be an exceptional lawyer in this life.
Under everyone's expectant gaze, Gloria spoke slowly.
"First of all, Ms. Hayes is not too busy to take care of her child. Instead, she spends time with her child every day. She does everything she has to do as a mom."
"Second, Ms. Hayes has told me that she will not marry again and will bring her son up. And she's not starting a new relationship. Please show us evidence, Counsel."
"Third, Ms. Hayes will raise a successful son, not a spoiled one. If a mother spoils her son, he possibly cannot succeed. I think Mr. Brooks may have heard this. The child doesn't understand this at this age, so he complains to you sometimes. Is this the way you try to win him over?"
