After that goal from Arlan in the thirty-third minute, many expected City's game to start getting a bit sloppy because they believed some of them would be demoralized after that goal but the opposite was the case so far.

To put it simply, they had no reason to feel demoralized yet since this was just the first half, recovering from a two-goal wasn't something impossible for them.

After all, they recovered from that two-goal deficit against Juventus even though they ended up ultimately losing the match, three goals to two.
