Kapitel 91: I want to help

Alpha Stephen nuzzled his nose into Max's neck and inhaled his deliciously warm vanilla scent. It was calming his bear as they got closer to the time they would make their move. "You should stay here," he said.

Max pushed his face away from him, "why would I stay here?" He asked.

"Because we have more than enough manpower to take them down and I do not want you to be put in harm's way," Alpha Stephen replied.

Max stared at him, "do you think I cannot handle something like this?" He asked.

"No," Alpha Stepen replied. "I just do not see a point in you being put in harm's way when I have brought seasoned warriors with me. You have no combat experience," he said.

"How am I supposed to get combat experience if I am stuck at home all the time?" His tone was laced with hurt.
