Apheitos entered the house with the light provided by the bright moon of the underworld streaming in through the door behind him. His arms were folded behind him when he approached Scarlet and the children, dimming his aura and making himself as non threatening as he could.
He stopped by the babies that were sleeping first, and looked down at them. Then, from one to the next, he touched their foreheads and whispered something. He finally came to the two that were breastfeeding and did the same thing.
When he was finished, he sat down in the chair opposite hers and pulled the life pods his way so that he could continue gazing upon the babies.
With most of the other deities, she would have been uneasy but with Apheitos, she felt completely safe. That's why she didn't flinch in anyway when he poked the cheeks of her oldest daughter.
"She will be a great craftsman this one, a woman that will make history."
Of course she would, he had blessed her.
