Kapitel 664: Emory unfinished...

The ceremony had nothing to do with her and Scarlet had zero interest in it. It was just another excuse for nobles to remind everyone about how much their great ancestors had sacrificed for the empire to get to where it was. 

The only difference with this years ceremony was that everyone that had participated in the mission of closing the last space crack was going to be rewarded. 

The emperor had been quick to share that great news after the mecha warriors returned. It was a big achievement for him to accomplish during his reign. Winters would no longer be a season to dread but one to enjoy. 

On top of that, he would be restoring the fallen house of Varakas with it's rightful lady, Lora Storm Varakas. Arya and her mother were keeping their new names apparently, leaving the past in the past.
