Kapitel 8: Chapter 8: Unintended Consequences
Son Goku and his stalwart group of Z Fighters stood resolute, their brows furrowed in concern. The battle before them was not like any they had faced before, and the stakes were higher than ever. Dabura, the malevolent demon with powers that rivaled the formidable Cell, was under the insidious control of the sinister Babidi.
It was a perplexing sight to behold. Babidi, appearing frail and unassuming, held the reins over a power so immense it could turn even the mightiest warriors into his willing puppets with a mere flick of his dark magic.
Supreme Kai issued a somber warning to his comrades, "Beware, my friends. In the presence of malevolent thoughts, Babidi's wicked sorcery may seize hold of your hearts, rendering you his unwitting pawns."
In the midst of this ominous atmosphere, two malevolent henchmen granted their energy to Babidi, who gloated with sinister delight, "Hahaha, splendid! You two have outlived your usefulness."
Without hesitation, Babidi triggered an explosive end for the hapless Yamu, leaving his partner Spobic no chance of escape. These expendable minions had lost their value, as Babidi's ambitions surpassed their meager worth.
"The audacity of this despicable old man," muttered Saitama. He could hardly stomach the malevolence that emanated from this alien foe.
Meanwhile, Babidi reveled in his newfound power, clutching the magic pot, and remarked to Dabura, the demon king, "It's astonishing how these two have amassed such power. They've even drawn our enemies to us!"
Demon King Dabura, bowing to Babidi, offered his services, "Master Babidi, Dabura is eager to eliminate this nuisance for you."
Babidi's wicked grin widened, "Very well, Dabra. I shall await your triumphant news."
With those words, Babidi withdrew into his cosmic vessel, leaving Dabura to his sinister designs. "Jie Jie Jie, now it's your turn," Dabura cackled with malevolence, his gaze narrowing at Son Goku and his companions lurking behind the mountain.
Supreme Kai, concealed behind the rocky outcrop, urgently cautioned, "Be vigilant! He has detected us! Scatter!"
With lightning speed, Dabura vanished from view, reappearing before Saitama and the others in an instant. Panic erupted as the Z Fighters dispersed in every direction, except for Saitama, who stood rooted to the spot.
"Doomed, insect!" Dabura snarled, conjuring a fiery red energy in his hand. With devastating force, the unleashed energy engulfed Saitama and most of the surrounding wilderness, causing mountains to crumble and the very earth to quake.
It felt like an eternity before the chaotic destruction finally ceased. High above, Son Goku pondered aloud, "Could he survive such an attack?"
Vegeta's response was cold and uncompromising, "Such arrogance deserves no mercy. He stood on par with Cell's might, and this is the price."
Yet, in that precarious moment, Son Gohan's voice broke through, filled with alarm, "Wait, something's amiss!"
As the thick shroud of smoke dissipated, Dabura's expression shifted from malevolence to disbelief. He tugged desperately at his trapped hand, but it remained ensnared in an unseen force.
Supreme Kai inquired, "What sorcery is this?"
"I cannot fathom it. Dabura appears ensnared," Saitama replied, his face a mask of bewilderment.
A sudden gust of wind dispersed the lingering smoke, revealing the unexpected. Somehow, Saitama had seized Dabura's hand, and no matter how the demon struggled, it remained firmly ensnared.
With a resounding snap, Dabura's hand fractured, eliciting agonized screams. Saitama shrugged sheepishly, "Oops, my bad, I may have squeezed a bit too hard there."
The Z Fighters gawked in disbelief at the spectacle before them. Dabura, a being on par with Cell, had lost his hand to an apparent ordinary Earthling.
Supreme Kai and Kibito, who knew Dabura's true power all too well, were left flabbergasted by the inexplicable turn of events. Dabura a had been an unstoppable force across the universe, bringing annihilation wherever he roamed. This was beyond their comprehension.
However, Son Goku and the others understood that Saitama was no ordinary Earthling. His absence of "Ki" energy was deceptive, concealing a terrifying strength.
Vegeta chimed in disdainfully, "Cell or Dabura, it matters not! I could dispatch them with a single hand! This Earthling, no matter how formidable, can't be a match for a Saiyan like me. When will you be ready to face me?"
The situation remained tense, and Supreme Kai and Kibito could only swallow their pride, realizing that Saitama's true power defied all expectations.
