Kapitel 96: Chapter 96: If you are Done Bitching Start the match!
"Why?? Why do you always have to get in my way???" Disheveled Evan, screamed at the white haired girl in front of him. His face was covered in blood.his eyes were swollen with bruises. His scream reverberated throughout the entire arena.
His eyes were filled with hatred and anger bored into the girl's body as if trying to kill her with looks alone.
- Half an hour before -
Keiran accompanied Luna to the gates from where she had to enter the stage. They were waiting for the commentator to announce the names of the contestants.
"You don't have to come here you know?" Luna asked with a smile, already knowing his answer.
Keiran smiled back at her as he gazed into her beautiful eyes.
"I know~ I just want to spend more time with you." He whispered softly enough for her to hear. His words stirred her heart even when she knew they were coming. They always seem to find their way to her heart.
With a sweet smile on her face she leaned in to kiss him softly.
"For the first match of the day please welcome, The cold beauty of the kingdom, Our Ice princess Luna Solunar."
Hearing the announcement Luna pulled back from the kiss with reluctance, Keiran could see a light blush on her face.
Something stirred inside his mind, seeing the blush and he teased her.
"It seems they are calling you Ice princess~ You should hurry Ice princess~~" Keiran's words deepened the blush on her face, to hide her embarrassment she pulled his collars and hurried her face in his chest.
Keiran chuckled at her behavior and added "It's fine if they see you as Ice princess~" he lifted her chin using his finger and looked at her blushing face for a second before whispering in her ear. "Because This face is just for me to see."
*Thump!* *Thump!!* *Thump!!!*
Luna could feel her heart jumping out of her chest hearing those words, she practically had hearts in her eyes. She nodded meekly in front of him before leaving towards the door. She was having trouble calming down after the incident. Fortunately, someone helped her with her predicament.
"Going against our princess is the heir of the duke family, Evan smith!! Oh!! This one is going to be a good one. I am eagerly waiting for the battle to start."
Hearing the words Luna's blush receded just like Keiran's smirk. She looked at the gate with cold eyes and impatience. It was as if she was waiting for the gate to open so she could finally kill the boy.
And it did open. As the huge gates started to rise Luna could see the visible figure of the blonde boy standing on the other end of the arena.
'I Will finally be able to kill you!' Luna thought in elation while walking towards the stage.
Soon they both stood face to face on the stage and looked at each other with similar emotions. Luna was a little shocked to see hatred in his eyes.
'What did i do to him to make him hate me this much, I should be the one hating him. He is the fucker who wanted to saparate me from my brother.'
"Many may not know this but I was able to procure a hidden information. Mr. Smith here asked for princess Luna's hand in marriage only to be rejected in return. She seems to be in love with someone, which is why she rejected him." hearing the words of the commentator the crowd erupted in a fit of laughter.
"Love?? Hahah!!"
"Hahaha, our Ice princess is in Love."
People started laughing and ridiculing her, while another man asked with a clueless expression.
"What is Love?"
"Nothing, just kids playing house when they are immature." the person beside the man replied in a cold voice.
Hearing the voices of ridicule Luna was unfazed but Keiran was angry. He wanted to kill them right there and now.
'No need to get worked up on mere ants brother.' The only thing holding him back was the soothing voice of Luna, she did not want him to end up in trouble for interfering in the match.
In the private room of the Arena, Seraphina looked at the audience with killing intent blazing her eyes.
"Who gave the information of the meeting away?" Her cold voice echoed in the room, she always came to watch the match of her children in person along with Aiden. His reaction was nothing shorter than hers.
'It must be John Smith behind this.' she exclaimed inside her mind, thinking of who could be behind the action. 'I will make sure he dies the worst death.'
Luna looked at the boy in front of her coldly as she waited for the commentator to start but instead he continued talking.
"The news doesn't end here, the one she loves is our dear Cold Prince Keiran. This is information I acquired from a reliable source. I had to put my life in danger for this information."
Luna turned to look at the animated screen and then looked back at her opponent, seemingly uninterested in the comment.
There were still some people in the crowd who did not believe in the news but when they heard this part they started to have doubts. Their doubts increased when they saw Luna making no efforts to deny them.
"Could it be true?? She is in love with her brother?"
"It might be possible she is always with him, they even grew up together."
" It seems our Ice prince already tasted the forbidden fruit of the ice princess. What a lucky bastard. HAHA--"
A man with a big mustache commented while the rest laughed along with him. But before they could laugh completely something happened.
*Thud**Thud**Thud**Thud**Thud*
In a sync all of their bodies fell to the ground, seemingly losing their lives. In the middle of their forehead is a single kunai deeply embedded in their skull.
Back on the stage Luna lowered her hand and removed her cold eyes from their lifeless bodies.
"It seems that you are taking me lightly just because I let you speak." her cold voice reverberated through the entire arena. No one dared to breathe under her emotionless cold eyes.
"That look is better suited on your face, the look trash like you guys should have." without saying anything further she looked at the animated screen and added, "If you are done with your bitching, start the match."
The cold voice sent shivers down the spine of the commentator as even his animated character trembled a little.
"W- Without waiting any further. Let the battle begin!!"
